You can always open up the browser when you're on the Xbox dashboard and go to speedtest.com and see the results. Obviously this is not what you're after, but it can give you a decent idea of the up/down speeds on your laptop or computer compared to your Xbox.
Also, if you do some Googling/Youtubing about how to increase your ping on Xbox you'll see some interesting hacks you can attempt. But please remember your default settings/configuration before you do this so you can always rollback if needed.
