Update on cp or just add the missing cp until decided

Zos please can we have an update on cp or lack of . Or until you decide please let us ha e the cp we should of had after you capped at 810 so basically 990 please

Gina provided an update on CP recently. Basically it is just a work in progress. Doubt they will give us any more CP until they are finished. We have not lost much. I have not missed it being how insignificant it would have amounted to.

As someone who has 1k+ CP I don’t want them to increase it. It simply artificially skews performance by constantly upping the stats of the high CP players. It does nothing for players below cap except further distance them in stats from the longer term players.

I don’t want to improve by being artificially buffed every time there’s a new release, that’s not ‘progression’ in my eyes. I want my improvement to be down to me getting better.

Depending on how the new CP rework goes I'd rather there always be a cap to a players hard progression and instead reward your long term players with cool stuff.

Maybe every 100 CP or whatever it will be above cap you get a costume, pet, mount, dye, etc. Whatever random stuff they wanna throw in to let you know they care about you continuing to support their game despite being far beyond what most would consider "the end".

I hate after 810cp you still get alerts you earn a nonexistent CP. either give us those CPs or remove that feature after 810cp! It just makes me feel bad.

To either make it an even number for stats or just remove the extra we have im now over 1000cp but can’t spend it

Im at 1400 cp and if they remove my extra its game over as thats alot just to take away the ive reared playing the game since release and yes i could have lots more but have different subs that are 810cp because i wanted the feeling of rearing something also reason im planning to transfer to pc to start up again as i dont see an chance to cp happening for an year to an year and a half giving me the time to get new account on pc up to max without it being rushed as id like to get this account platinum like my main ps4 account is

They should just set CP to 300 and any CP over 300 is traded for crowns at 100 crowns for every 1 CP. And of course remove the hard cap. I jest i jest...

No but really...

Seriously 1 CP = 100 crowns. Take your time on that new system and...Make Players Happy Again.

cp aint whats doing the power creep as we have seeing it get higher even with cp on hold so no its not cp its this system of adding new sets in everytime theres an new chapter STOP IT ZOS we dont need 9 new sets everytime YOU add content 9 an year would do so to keep power creep down but 3 per dungeon and 3 craftables is just over doing it every 3 months or so

Cp cap will remain as it is until system is redone/refurbished: after the power creep was increased ZOS redefined the direction where they think ESO should go -> content became harder just by the changes made in the last patches to classes/races/sets/skills.

We need to wait n see what dev team will bring but atm performance across all platforms is the most important matter.

Why must we have vertical progression? Unlike single player games content isn’t gated based on level post CP 300...

CP is just a number after 810. Increasing it just seems like an artificial benefit to longer term players, buffing their stats. It doesn’t make them better players, it just gives them an advantage based on jail/game time.

I’ve been over 810 for a good while, and my ‘vertical’ progression has been down to me getting better at the game rather than a result of clocking up hours...

So I’m not sure we need it, but I’m curious why people think we do.

And, yes I am also fed up with ugly Indriks

Really need to think how this impacts the whole game. New players feel this daunting task to get to a CP level the community will accept them. And yes I have been playing just over 7 months and this is a real thing. Also, how long do new players have to wait before they are relevant for Cyro, Trials, Dungeons? Making that milestone harder to reach is not a bright idea. As much as vet players dont like to hear this. New players are the lifeblood of this game.

Why do people ask for more vertical progression past 810 (which is already a huge amount of progression)? Because playing the game at that point feels stagnant.

Why does the game feel stagnant? Because content has already been run, achievements have been earned, playing feels the same as it did 100 cp ago.

But, like it or not, this game has a finite amount of content. As expansive as the game is, there's only so much that can be done. Adding in more vertical progression isn't going to change that.
