I'm confused about tonight's "Patch Maintenance"

The wording is confusing. All megaservers have maintenance tonight. PC/Mac has just plain maintenance, but Consoles have "Patch" maintenance. What patch is this? It can't be Update 25, it's too soon, not to mention we always get them two weeks after PC. It'd be nice if Patch Notes were released prior to maintenance so we knew what was coming.

No but when that update comes, it will uninstall and reinstall automatically.

Feb. 5th is not Patch Maintenance for PC, it is just regular server maintenance.

This will be the 3rd time they are going to try and fix the bluescreen issues console players see every 30 minutes or so since dragonhold release

What bluescreen issue? It has never happened to me. Not once. On Xbox.

They aren't (or shouldn't be) stored in the same folder as ESO, so in theory they should not be touched by the process. Whether or not they'll still work after the update is another thing entirely.

Trying to improve stability - the amount of blue screens in PS4 at prime time can be overwhelming depending on the content you're playing.

Im also pretty sure they have to jump in and remove ll the extra campaigns ect from Midyear Mayhem and all that stuffs too. its pretty standard to happen once this event is over ":)

Does ESO ever crash to dashboard on Xbox? That’s what a PS4 blue screen is. You won’t see a “blue screen” on Xbox because you don’t have a blue user interface.

Edit: as for the proposed “fix”, I’ll believe it when I see...other people posting about it, as I sure as hell am not reinstalling this dumpster fire until I know for sure that I won’t be crashing multiple times per hour.
