....there always seems to be someone who tries to jump into the well?

Or in Vulkhel Guard when someone not wearing a First Auridon Marine disguise when trying to meet Battlereave Urcelmo tries to get past the guards and gets repelled 8-10 times before it dawns on them they must be doing something wrong?

Actually, it is quite amusing to watch.

    Heh, I do that all the time! It's my personal protest against invisible walls that prevent me from getting into that damn well @!#! :D

    No, what I usually notice is that waiting for a dolmen looks more like the early hours of something like Fringe Fest or Bonnaroo. There are always other players waiting and wandering around eating snacks, playing musical instruments, juggling, or just streaking around naked.

    All we really need is a unicycle (or stilts) memento to complete the picture.

    the really funny thing is no matter what you cant get their attention when you try to tell them to check their journal to see what they missed. Also the first time i did that quest I found the alternative where you can sneak in through the outlaws refuge with no costume

    There's been a few glitches where I've accidentally ended up in one while I was in a duel. Shooting Star sends me places that I dare not venture again.

    I did that the first time I came across a dolmen. At that point, I hadn't ever seen one start, so I didn't yet know
    how they worked.

    Me too. I know it's supposed to be blocked off on all of them, but games are weird and there's always the chance that there will be a hole somewhere.

    We all tried that, at least once :D

    Nowadays, I just play the flute while waiting. Others join the waiting by dancing or playing other instruments, but there's ALWAYS someone who tries to get into the well. Lmao

    dont judge i will get into the portal to the under world "eventually" all the lot in the game is under that trust me iv seen it with my own eyes :)

    I always thought it looks like people lined up outside the Golden Corral waiting for the Early-Bird special.

    They ought to make that dead stuff inviz to everyone else but the guy(s) who didn't loot it for one cycle max, then evaporate.
    I believe that most of them are left behind by players that just want to leave their version of 'graffiti' behind as their tag, to clutter up the area.

    You don't need to equip the outfit to get past the guards in Auridon. On the north western part of the wall, there's no wall
    Remove loot boxes or riot

    Would be fun if the entrance to Blackreach is through an abandoned dolmen anchor point.

    Had this game for like 4 years now, and still try to jump into the well every time.
