Siluum not clearing

I've been to Siluum about five times trying to get the dungeon to clear, but it always appears as not cleared when I exit. The icon over Siluum stays black as if I haven't cleared it. Am I missing something? I got the Skyshard in there already and the first time I was there was for the Mages Guild.

No, it's tied to the Mages Guild.

I had the same issue the first dungeon i did. It seems you need to get a hit in on the last boss in the instance and what with the boss campers in every.single.dungeon. it can be a pain sometimes. Just hit the last named mob, wait for it to die, loot and you should get the achievement and the closure your looking for.

If not ticket it with customer service.

As was just stated, there is a boss in every public dungeon that needs to be killed to receive credit for completing the dungeon. Other dungeons have other requirements also, such as Dead Man's Hollow. If you don't do a quest in there you don't get credit for completing it even if you kill the final boss.

I guess maybe that is it then, I'll have to try it again. I think all those times I was healing those that we're fighting the last boss and that might be what made me miss out.

I'm not even worried about getting loot off the last boss, I won't get anything, I don't think, since I'm at level 15 and it's a low level dungeon, I just want it marked complete. Off I go then, thanks for the tips.

Yup, that solved it. I was able to get at least one hit on the boss, and then it was marked completed. There weren't too many campers, just two. I watched them wait for the boss to respawn. Lol

That's one of my main complaints against open world / public dungeons. In some dungeons there is a literal CROWD of PCs all loitering about (or swinging at empty air) waiting for the boss to spawn so they can "farm" it.

I much prefer this one dungeon where you have to ring a bell to spawn the boss... of course then everyone can dog-pile on the boss, but at least YOU know when it's about to appear and can maybe at least get a hit in to get credit...

In a similar vein as the OP, there is one World Boss encounter that I have not been able to clear... most are pretty obvious but there's one area right outside Daggerfall proper (I think maybe right 'above' Siluum, even) where I've loitered about and never seen a world boss there to fight... and it's not because he's being camped --- no one is there.

Not sure if there's a trigger or what, but that un-filled skull and crossbones grates on me every time I enter Glenumbra.

I know which one you're talking about, the Western Overlook group boss to kill Limbscather. I got that one early on, but I do remember it taking it's sweet time to repawn.

Oh Limbscather, I remember being ripped apart by that one in beta. Yeah he does take a while to respawn, have you tried relogging as that sometimes sorts it.

Siluum - yeah just noticed that it isn't cleared for me either, going to go back and try to get the boss, hope I don't get reported as a bot by someone being overzealous!
