After careful consideration (and oh! so much deliberation) we have concluded that you circumstance sounds too much like a l2p issue for it to be just a mere coincidence.

I just do writs on my characters everyday. I got 10 toons now, not all of them are at level 50 yet but I get 38k a day. On 8 characters I made around 30k. Slow but sure and still quicker than farming. I just listen to my favourite podcast, do some chores during load screens and click away.

    30k a day x 30 days is 900k a month that's not chump change....
unless you are buying full carrying slots for every toon which run just shy of 180k per toon. i do recommend buy full carrying slots on every toon so you have a place to store crafting survey and treasure maps because like this guy above with 10 toons you will be gathering a lot of those maps as well as gold and you will have to go on map runs to keep your resources filled up to do daily crafting writs

Using Alliance points to buy the two motifs that you can only get with sed points and selling them for gold. Some of the 500,000 ap ones can fetch for 64-70K each.

    Easy dollar....

Ap is supposed to be 5ap-1g isn’t it?

Just seems like I’m going to have to wait to level their crafts or spend a lot of gold to do it

I decon rather than sell all my found weapons/armor, levels up the crafting pretty reasonably. it's Enchanting that is ... challenging to level
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    How to make gold.
    1. Find a giant star.
    2. Feed it lots of iron.
    3. Star goes *BOOM* and there is gold in the nebular remnants.
    4. PROFIT

Wrong. The rod-shaped bacterium C. metallidurans primarily lives in soils that are enriched with heavy metals. Over time some, minerals break down in the soil and release toxic heavy metals and hydrogen into the environment.
Gold enters the bacteria the same way as copper. Copper is a vital trace element for C. metallidurans however it is toxic in large quantities. When the copper and gold particles come into contact with the bacteria, a range of chemical processes occur: Copper, which usually occurs in a form that is difficult to take up, is converted to a form that is considerably easier for the bacterium to import and thus is able to reach the interior of the cell. The same also happens to the gold compounds.
This is how gold is made on earth the rest is theory and cannot be proven.

OP did not ask how to concentrate existing gold, but rather how to make gold ex-nihilo. C. metallidurans is an excellent way to concentrate existing gold, I'll readily grant that -- however it does not address the question at hand. Also, my answer was clearly somewhat facetious since I didn't address the most effective way to produce gold, which would be as follows:

    1. Find two neutron stars
    2. Smoosh them together
    3. Survive the thermal and gravitational destruction that results
    4. Collect the earth-sized chunks of gold and other heavy metals from the debris field
    5. PROFIT

Clearly step 3 is somewhat problematic for backyard nucleosynthesis, which is why I cannot recommend it.
Taking stealth away from the Bosmer is like taking magic away from the Altmer, making Nords allergic to mead, or making Orcs pretty.

I will be taking this opportunity to request that we don't smoosh any neutron stars together until such time as we can give everyone 2 weeks' notice.

Surveys stack up and there's not that many of them. I keep them in bank and take them out regularly when they hit higher numbers (7-10). That way I'm swimming in gold mats. As for slots, I haven't even maxed out my bank yet and I only bought bag upgrades on one toon. I really don't nead that much space, but I do have ESO+ so craft bag makes writs really easy.
