Request for a Treasure "Library"

There are hundreds of treasure items in-game and more added with each new zone. They range from hilarious to adorable to creepy and ALL have their own flavour text. I know many players who keep some of their favourites, often to link in chat when it seems appropriate, but there are far too many to keep them all.

I love stealing and I love collecting.

I know this won't be on the top of anyone's to-do list with this year being focused on performance improvements, but I would LOVE to see a treasure library similar to Eidetic Memory. When we loot a treasure (99% are stolen) it marks as acquired in the library and the item tooltip will be readable and linkable from there. Someone complaining their bottom is cold? Link [Malacath's Brass Arse-Warmer]. Someone being annoying, toss a [Jar of Live Centipedes] their way, that'll keep them out of your hair awhile. Someone in zone chat found something 'erotic", up their game by linking your favourite 'erotic' treasure item!

So much effort has gone into thinking up all of these items and their descriptions I think it would be great to have a way to showcase them more. I do realize that it is very random which treasures we find in a zone and it could be nearly impossible to find them all and have a 'complete' library BUT I could deal with missing a few due to luck and having the rest to link at will in chat

They should be furniture items imo.

Plus the Quest rewards - usually pretty useless items of weapons and armour BUT I 'killed' a Daedric Prince to get one - why at least can't we have a display cabinet in homes to place them? or even just one or two favourites?

This. I'd like an aspect of the thieves guild or legerdemain that allows us to combine them to create a rune box if we so choose that results in a collectable or just a furnishing so we can use more than one in our home. I always found it a shame I couldn't place my stolen goods in my house.

It would be awesome if they were furniture items you can only acquire from stealing. Little baubles and trinkets to add a certain diversity and "lived in" feel to homes.

But if not, at least it would be nice if there was an option that when you find one you really really like, you could go to an NPC (possibly in outlaws refuge) who'd transform it into a furnishing for vouchers or some other currency (possibly liniency edicts or something like that).

This would both improve the thieving and housing experience in one swoop.

    THIS.
SO. MANY. ITEMS. That are stealable treasures sound super-good/cute/fun as furnishings.
What's even more annoying is you can't even give these items away to someone whether you've Laundered them or not.
Once I pickpocketed some vampire-themed item and a guildie who was into vamps really wanted it... but nope. Bound.

They really really drop the ball on things like this. I really would love to see some of these things as furniture or mementos.

My 7th character - really just a mule, but my first that was male, and made to look like me IRL - has kept Bazgara’s Lucky Horshoe since they fell in love with the Daggerfall Stablemistress some years ago... as a symbol of our unrequited love. ;)

I also have a Sweetroll Pastry Pan & some kind of snuff-box tin.

It’s funny when some people link certain items they have kept, that have a relevance in zone chat, for instance.

    So... yes! Display please!

I would love unlimited(or high capacity) chest where I could store treasures and furniture without using 200 writs/2000 crowns.
As if having all full of different gears and cyrodil stuff would not take enough storage.

It is a shame that these "treasures" that have so much thought put into them are for nothing more than selling :( Some could be turned into furniture items, some memetos and ALL of them could be part of a collection and/or different category collections (books, weapons, music boxes, etc) achievements for the Thieve's Guild and completion of each would reward a stolen "treasure" as a housing item.

It's no secrect that housing, collections and achievements are loved by a LOT of ESO players and I think this would be a great addition.

This would be great. Also purple and yellow items could be used as house furnishings if you did not want to sell to a merchant for gold. Having a catalog of stolen items would be really great, being able to go from zone to zone looking for unique items :) This is kind of what is happening with the new antiquities skill line, but I feel that there is so much more potential for thieving in the game. A missed opportunity for Elseweyr I say.

I would like a sub category of about 10 items that we can carry for RP purposes. We could place a few items in there that define our character. Yes, they would be protected from accidental vendoring. It could be done with a lock type of mechanism.

I have tried to keep a few Alt specific items and i end up selling them by accident.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
