When will Cyrodil no longer be dominated by the Aldmeri Dominion?

Sounds like OP needs to step up, rally their alliance and lead them to victory.

Seriously though. A large campaign design such as Cyrodiil is not designed or intended to be truly competitive. There will always be imbalances. Population imbalances and even leadership/player skill imbalances naturally occur that cause one side to slightly dominate another side.

What? Here on PC-NA, on the true campaign aka Kaalgrontiid, AD is pretty much dead

I think i only see ADs on dead campaigns, hmmm... maybe AD is a undead...

for all we know, we probably don't know all the racial sex the queen may have had :D, although we know at least one already (eh, Raz? xd)

Part of me wishes ZoS would empower an Imperial faction.

I'd immediately join that faction and drive all of the invading provincials out of Cyrodiil in preparation for the restored Empire's outward push to re-conquer and re-civilize Tamriel's feuding lands.

Of course, the new Empire would be most generous with the *former* Daggerfall Covenant, as they were always for restoring an Empire-like existence.

    ;)

I don't know why, but I suspect a pirate faction will arrive one day with a main theme for an expansion.

Besides, a faction wasn't supposed to exist at the beginning of the game? it wasn't mentioned?

Imagine thinking that ZoS actually favors a faction in the middle of all the work and problems they have :joy:

no more need to imagine, it is already visible without forcing the brain x)

Then they’d dominate all platforms, servers, and campaigns. And that’s definitely not the case. Maybe expand your perspective before relying on conspiracy theories.

Different on PC/NA. I don’t really care much for score, but it’s usually 2nd or 3rd for AD. EP dominates with their 24-hour guilds. At some point, AD did dominate on the scoreboards because of the night-capping basically carrying the faction.

Ive noticed the common type of player each faction consists of over the years.

The Dominion has the highest number of veteran PvPers who put effort in Min/Max and Meta builds. The majority are adequate to skilled players and they almost always play in groups, whether it be groups of 2 or 20.

The Covenant is smaller in numbers but also have a majority of adequate, well built players, however they tend to play either in small groups to go on farming runs, or solo. A blue zerg isnt a common sight.

The Pact are a faction of veteran vagabonds, mixed with newer players. There are very few actually good players compared to the other factions numbers, however if they do group, they only do so with friends, guilds, or the established "in" players. The Pact is a mish mash of Solo players constantly getting farmed and constantly asking zone where the fight is. Its why EP is known as the zerg faction. We form into mobs cause no one wants to lead PuGs.

This summary is on point. Those DC small scalers, I’m always impressed with their trolliness (and I don’t mean that negatively). I see them as the saboteur faction (again, not saying that negatively). And that one DC sniper who hangs outside enemy keeps, they always crack me up. Such a hooligan.

If anythng they are bias toward dc as they have actually said they dont like AD. xD. Which would explain the 90 percent dc hammer drop rate.

That’s hilarious. DC is in last place on pc/na Kaal and the hammer is still spawning yellow every time.

The only thing this thread is good for is to PROVE a) people in forums never post their region/server/campaign and b) every campaign has a different dominator so it can’t be favoritism on Zos’s part.

I was just in kaal. The covenant is dominating right now

Just a thought but has anyone commenting on this actually played at a different time than they normally do.
I play at different times during a 24hr period and have seen AD holding the map EP holding the map and DC holding the map to say anyone of these is dominating the map is for two-thirds of the time barmy. although I cannot speak about EU server as I was always taught not to speak ill of the dead, Also I played EU server for about twenty minutes once and although a brit I immediately went back to the Na server sorry guys yer stuck with the Dafts.

There was a faction war zerglings they raised,
prepared them for battle and in fine fettle kept.
Then sent them to battle a wonderful sight,
with the clink and the rattle of each warrior knight.
Upon a castle they made there last charge,
heads held high twas a sight was that charge.
straight into the breach, those brave ponies sped,
along with their zerglings they lie there quite dead.
we'll honour their memory we'll remember their names,
and once you've respec'd them then send them again.

All this for what or because of what? racial states? offering a certain favouritism for this faction? Then isn't it high time we found a solution to this problem?

It's ZO's own damn stupid fault.

They decided to lock races into factions. They decided to make racist passives really significant.

AD has two elven races (always popular), a cat race, and at launch and up until relatively recently, the only two races in the game with stealth bonuses and also the race with arguably the best magicka ones.

On top of that the only female faction leader. I couldn't care less about the gender of the faction leader, but on top of all of the other reasons to play AD, some will choose it for the girl power factor.

I'm surprised you say that DC is ahead of EP, but maybe that's also a reflection of racist passives. If you're going to farm AP for any reason, why not do it with the race that has the 1% bonus? And after the most recent racist passives changes, Breton are also widely regarded as having the best magicka passives.

It may also be a reflection of ESO not really being an Elder Scrolls game other than in setting. EP includes the lands of Skyrim and Morrowind - two of the IPs mega successes - but with stupid things like classes and significant racist passives, it doesn't even come to close to living up to the promise of "play as you want" which fans of the IP are into.

Personally - but I don't know how representative this might be - I also had two philosophical problems with EP. Slavery and The Tribunal. While slavery has officially been suspended at this time for the sake of bringing Argonians into the Pact, I'm of a similar mind to the Argonians who we see take refuge in Valenwood. I couldn't stomach an Argonian character belonging to the Pact. And The Tribunal are a bit of a hot mess in terms of their values.

While we know that the Dominion goes super bad eventually and see the beginnings of that in ESO, Ayrenn is not a race supremacist. They're her enemies.

As long as we have Ayrenn we shan't fall
    For Ayrenn!!
    For dominion!!

I'm personally rooting for Ayrenn myself, even though I mainly play blue, it's hard not to feel sympathy for her wildly misshapen head.

I'm all for this. I think it should be switched off whenever you're not on. It's outrageous people from other parts of the planet can play, and undo all your hard work. I've mailed my congressman, that's how rong this is.

Oh thanks Auri el for that suggestion

At least for one morning we will not need to bring our scrolls back from Fort Warden and Dragonclaw and can keep Faregyl, Bloodmayne and Black boot from being blue-pvdoored while we are all asleep!!

    Yffre bless you!

    So for info I don't play a race for its states, but for the lore of it, as proof, I play a Nordic murderer archer in bulk, I'm the opposite of what TESO incites us to play :p and I live it pretty well, even if I complicate it I still persist :p in this way :p;
Although I'm starting to have a strong appreciation for the Dark Elves for both their looks and their culture/history, but for now I still have the northern sentimentality that resists.
I could almost evoke a 3rd race, but this is more due to an effect of an emblematic character of the game, who is none other than dear Abnur Tharn:D, I love his Pierre Richard side:D of this reference will be better known by French people (to make it short, it's a French actor who used to make movies with a character with a high rate of bad luck every time he does or even touches something ^^^) well here's all this to say that I'm not playing for the stats and besides, if you want my opinion, this idea of racial stat is probably the biggest mistake Elder Scrolls could have made !
