About dk leap reaction time

Hello, i know leap is going to change. But recently i have been more careful about this ability. And there is absolutely no reaction time for me before i can react to a second attack after leap. I am getting leap + 1-2k dot + executioner or leap + dot + whip death recaps that have a total value of 17-18k min. And i cant also react to the leap animation, it is instant. I do pvp with around 23-24k and squishy build. I just LoS and dodge a lot but cant do anything about leap, cant see it coming, cant react after it. Leap for me is a 18k instant hit atm. After the leap even though i insta break free and hold block and spam heal, i still die to the combo and get the full damage on the death recap.
Is this because of my connection or frame rate or is that happening to everyone, as well?

✭✭✭✭You need to block the leap so you don't get stunned. Particularly on magDKs, DK will use their Leap as a pseudo execute, Leap -> Whip being the finisher. So you should know when to expect it, and have mitigation strategies other than dodge. Reliance on dodge is just overall not a great defense versus DKs, who also have Fossilize.
StamDK Leap hits MUCH harder than mag Leap, but they are typically still going to Leap + Exec.2
