Will I need to uninstall all things ESO on my Xbox and then reinstall it? or, Just let the update do it's thing and uninstall nothing? Not sure what to do when this drops. I've search the forums and can't find an answer. Thanks for the help, guys. Peace. :)

I believe xbox will see the game needs an "update" and do everything itself, though if you want to be thorough you can uninstall yourself on patch day, restart your console, and then reinstall with the new patch.

When will this happen? Is it the same for PC and Xbox/PS4 or are the dates different? What is the date for this to happen on?

^^ What he said. Even if the installer can do it all (and it probably will), the best practice here would be a total uninstall and hard reset, then reinstall. Just start fresh with a new installation to avoid problems.

Thank you very much. I have been waiting for a while and reinstalling ESO on PC again right now. Was waiting for weeks for the new up date but want to start playing again so installing right now.

Oh well. I am lucky I have unlimited not capped internet. I do feel for the others though.

It’ll be in February for console (probably 21/22nd) , otherwise what they did for daily rewards is pointless

It’s not pointless for PC players, some of whom will definitely be affected in February. If the update releases for consoles in March, which would be consistent with every other major update release so far, then we should expect to see the March calendar likewise shortened.

The new file format is supposed to really help patching so you will hopefully use less bandwidth this year overall.

Note, the new install size is about 17 GB smaller.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
