Just out of curiosity @ZOS_GinaBruno is the Elder Scroll of Ghartok a reference to the Orc Half Elf Rogue(Garthok) in the Critical Role D&D series or does the the Elder Scrolls lore predate this character?

Any more information from other lore enthusiasts would he greatly appreciated, thank you

Ghartok was mentioned as a weird magic word in the 36 Sermons of Vivec from TES3 Morrowind, and in Mankar Camoran's Commentaries on the Mysterium Xarxes from TES4 Oblivion. Since these predate Critical Role, it doesn't seem like it.

Would be fun to have fantasy podcast references in the future though.

Or perhaps the person on critical role is a TES fan? One has been there a bit longer.

its more then likely this one. Critical Role people are gigantic nerds AND voice actors who have worked on wide number of video games.

like the guy playing a half orc in question has over 100 voiceover credits according to IMDB, many of them video game related.
