Oh wow, very nice - I love the bread basket and the mortar and pestle.

Wish the Alinor bread basket came with bread included and that the other racial styles had a version, too.

I have spent literally hours placing those little braided Nord rolls in the Alinor ones, lol.

That well is also quite impressive...

I would not expect those until a later build closer to Chapter release. This content is mainly for the first quarter update if I am not mistaken

The patch notes say there are 2 new houses and they are asking for feedback on PTS forum so I'm assuming the homes are on PTS now or is it not allowed to post video of them?

    New Homes
We’re excited to present two new homes for testing in this update:

Forgemaster Falls: Thunderous waterfalls, an imposing smithy, and a magnificent view of the Great Bay make this brisk coastal village the perfect refuge for adventurers seeking a rugged Orcish lifestyle.
This home includes a built-in blacksmithing station!

Thieves’ Oasis: With its mix of Redguard architecture, both old and new, Thieves' Oasis features a stunning waterfall, ancient statues, and housing fit for a prince—whether that prince is a scholarly antiquarian or roguish thief.

They are indeed available on the PTS. I don't think screenshots really do them justice and I'm not a video person. But if no one posts video in the next day or so, I'll try to put together some screenshots.

Screenshots would be great! Does the ForgeMaster Falls house have a snowy outdoor yard? Really that's what I"m hoping for :)

@carly There is no snow, but it's beautiful imo. Backs up to a foresty mountain with waterfalls flowing around it.

15x heartwood for a bread basket. If you get bored with it you can make a bonfire with it.

    /facepalm

My problem with this furnishings update is that we get stuff for content that now is getting behind the new chapter. While I don't mind getting new items, I was hoping to see new stuff in the Skyrim style or generic items which were requested many times (like planters, building blocks, etc).

The devs keep going in their direction with very little regard towards the community. How many times people in this forum asked for a new Khajiit bed? Or a gong? Really. If I am going to quit ESO at one point, years long frustration with housing will be one of the reasons.

The pestle and mortar is just as bad.
It will probably cost 10k gold to make. It's as if no thought goes into these decisions or that the person that decides on the recipes has never tried to grind these mats!

Agreed. We're into the Dark Heart of Skyrim year aka Year of the Nord. I'm disappointed to be seeing more Khajiit plans, as well. I do like the Senche-Raht bed, but it's not really needed, esp. since it can't be used. I like the bread basket and the game, since they feel more non-racial and usable with most décor.

I guess they decided to wait until the Chapter release for Nord stuff, but if they're trying to build up hype, a few previews of what we can expect with Nord housing in Skyrim would certainly do the trick! Or, even, as you say, giving us more generic items that have been requested would be welcome. But, with this release schedule, we'll be getting Nord stuff at the start of the next year, when we'll all be tired of Nord stuff.

Here's hoping that they'll at least hold back some of the regular Skyrim furnishing plans for the 4th quarter DLC release.

Wow, well if you think about how many mats it would take to make a basket and then 5 French sticks to put in it, I guess it's not quite so bad?

And the other house whose name escapes me atm. It's a great little town setting which actually has 2 separate houses across the street from each other, making it potentially a great roleplay setting.

Tigers right, we're lucky that bread basket doesn't take 100 flour because it comes with 5 breads.
