perhaps for a magic weapons skill line they could do something with conjured weapons?
Problem being that Conjured Weapons is a Sorcerer skill morph of conjured armor
All classes already have a form of conjured weapons
Dragon Knights: Lava Whip
Templars: Aedric Spear
Nightblade: Assassins Blade & Spectral Bow
Sorcerer: Bound Gear
Warden: Ice Armor & Shields

The only thing that does not make me want more weapons, is the large number of different weapons that can drop at the end of dungeons/various content etc... especially stuff that can't be sold in guild stores, that you have to farm in a group or solo.
More weapon types reduces the chance of you getting the weapon you actually want to drop, its already a pain to get the weapon's you want with the current pool of possible loot.1 -

So we wind up with instances like where the Spear of Bitter Mercy is a staff even though most stave designs in the game are more practical as blunt force mauls than a thrust/throw spear. Or how there's a motif page only for daggers even though daggers are really just reasonably sized swords.
So while fun to think about, weapons are far more than adding a skill line. Entire existing systems and purchases would need to be revised.signing off0 -
Tharonil✭✭✭YesI need one hand swords or new sword styles! Two handed sword movements are a bit too chunky for my katana. I hope other are coming soon. In trailer or pictures one handed fights are not rare.

UltraMex✭✭YesI would prefer to "give vanilla weapons in same category more variety in skill" because even with passive, using Axe or sword or mace feel the same, and add Crossbow! You have Ballista in this world yet Crossbow is somehow a conundrum! I'd say this newest Chapter missed the big opportunity in adding Crossbow because we are dealing with Vampire now
