I would like to see a rant section that mods can move non constructive/ranting threads to. I'm sure it would get many laughs plus a place where people can rant together XD

    It would just be better if people ignored them altogether.

    Possibly the mods could just remove them for being
    non-constructive or something, something. :)

    Just glad people are really nice in the game and the toxic jellybeans are far and few to be found.

    That is more of a technical issue, so it is okie dokie. Just like I luv :s the random loading screens in cyro.

    And please a dedicated RPG / Lore section where the ̶n̶̶e̶̶r̶̶d̶̶s̶ fans can discuss the correct number of watcher tentacles, the proper skin tone of daedra werewolves and why a vampire in a coffin is both, alive and dead.
    And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
    And if there is no room upon the hill
    And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too

    Pretty sure Zos just does not want those types of threads in the forums to begin with. Not arguing but just suggesting the idea is probably a non-starter.

    They have a ‘Lore section’ but I am not sure how active it is.

    It is a great idea and would be very interesting to read the posts.

    I do not read either section. Just pointing out they are there. I do not expect Zos going to police details about lore and for heaven's sake we have enough player confused about lore to begin with.

    The site I formerly worked for had such a thread dump. You could post there right away, but if a thread was derailed, a mod could move it there as well.
    It was the only forum section I as an admin never had to visit, and all others remained busy but peaceful.

    Probably not. We were neither a stock-listed business nor a government agency so we had it a tad easier it seems.

    Yeah but they can't ever stop it, I've seen this model used in other games the mods open a monthly thread for people to rant in. It seemed to take the animosity away from all the bugs and problems by giving people somewhere to just vent basically. People already vent all the time but having a dedicated spot would something to test out imo

    Not to that extent, I would say that most cyber bullies and trolls use that as a way to cope with whatever they have going on in LIFE but its not justified. Have you ever heard give someone a taste of their own medicine? The same concept would apply, honestly it would be an interesting social experiment. I would expect for the bitterness to die out kind of like a super nova

    EXACTLY I've seen this model used in another forum and after coming back to eso recently I thought it would be a good idea. As you described it that is exactly how it was in this other forum I am apart of. People don't want to be censored, and they definitely won't stop complaining but I understand them completely.
