Spears & polearms (combat staff) hybrid weapon skill line or at least 1h & spell for melee magicka builds.

spear if is to be added it should be the 2h with crit like dagger is for dual wield. And other than rune and alteration/illusion staves nothing more should be added ever

First fix ice staves, make maces better/useful outside of PVP, and give swords a purpose other than to give tanks' left hands something to hold. Then we can get to new weapons

Expansion wasn't built into the motif system. So we wind up with instances like where the Spear of Bitter Mercy is a staff even though most stave designs in the game are more practical as blunt force mauls than a thrust/throw spear. Or how there's a motif page only for daggers even though daggers are really just reasonably sized swords.

So while fun to think about, weapons are far more than adding a skill line. Entire existing systems and purchases would need to be revised.

A single one-handed weapon skill line would be really nice, as would be spears/polearms and weapon + rune/spell.

Thrown poisons and 1h/rune please.
