I have a document that I update for each event, listing each day of each event and how many tickets I should have after I've collected my tickets for each day. I even list what I'm supposed to buy-- such B2 (berry number 2) or F4 (feather number 4)-- and on which days I'll need to buy them. Then, whenever I earn any tickets, I put a Y (yes) by that day. That way I can look at the currency tab of my inventory to see if my current number if tickets matches what I should have on that day, or I can look at the list and see whether I've already earned my tickets that day or if I need to log in and earn them before going to bed.

Note to all - this difference means that if you can login soon after the reset, there is typically a narrow window to snag one extra day's worth of tickets for each event. It's narrow because events typically end on a maintenance day and maintenance starts a few hours after the daily reset. Sometimes maintenance finishes before the event ends, but not always.

My only comment is that the starting/ending time and daily reset time have been consistent for all of the events, beginning with the very first event, so the only people who should have any confusion about the difference between those times are the new players. And since new players are constantly joining the game, it would help if other players were to look out for them. So if you see someone post a question in zone chat such as "Where is the event merchant?" or "What are we supposed to do with these tickets?" please consider pointing out to them that the daily reset time for earning the tickets is different than the starting/ending time for the event.

Thanks for input everyone. I was told by a guild member that event reset at midnight but I assume it was 10pm so I had already earned that days ticket without realizing.

Yup. I have a spreadsheet.... I'm not interested in tickets or berries right now - everyone's got a nascent indrik and some tickets. I don't want the spectral indrik, don't like the undead/ghosty things. So I'm good for a while.

But without the spreadsheet, I'd be totally lost....

a) No, I'd bet that quite a lot of players aren't aware that the start and reset times are different. Many might log in about the same time each day. Get their tickets. And think that it's just a daily thing. They'd have no reason to think otherwise.

b) If I'm paying any attention to zone chat - I often don't because ESO's can be super skanky - and someone asks a question I know the answer to and I have the time, I'll respond.

But frankly, your asking or expecting players to make up for ZO's poor communication skills is a bit much.

This is their game and their responsibility.

I get that, but when berries/feathers cost 10 tickets, the limit is 12, and you get 3 tickets per day all at the same time, it's very easy to go over the limit. They could easily set the limit at 15 or 20 tickets and people still wouldn't be able to hoard them.
