I agree with your post 100%. The slaughterfish are OP. I was going for the fishing achievement and died many a times to the laser beam focus that is these scaly beasts. Those docks down south near the one or two saltwater fishing holes are deadly!

I say remove the fish and just make a 5 min. debuff called WTD( water transmitted disease) that does 420 disease damage every 1 sec. Can't be purged except by a new Doc. NPC at the home camp. After all, it is a war zone and the waters are polluted or tainted. LOL

LOL. Yeah, I feel your pain. I jumped to get a Skyshard in Cryo which was near the water and instead of landing on the wood walkway I landed in the water under the walkway.

Munch munch! Dead by Slaughterfish. LOL.

But I don't mind them tbh. When I need to get back to home base quickly I just jump in the water and poof! Back at home base.

I don't remember what game I was playing but it did have the Holy Hand Grenade in it and I used it on a white bunny. LMAO... I think it may have been GreedFall.

I thought this was going to be complaining slaughterfish existing in cryodiil at all. But I have to agree with you OP, just having your toe touch the water and getting killed as fast you do is pretty dumb. It got even worse when they made the damage of the fish go up quite a bit.

It's a little known fact that slaughterfish fry absolutely love left pinky toes. And their second favorite food? Nirnroot. You were taunting them! Death by 10 million fingerling bites is what it is. Next time you will know better.

Seriously, the slaughterfish in Cyrodiil are somewhat overdone.

Top advice for the Midyear Mayhem casualist - do your survey, go get blood ported by slaughter fish. That way you deny the enemy a kill and port quickly back to homebase

There's an area in Greenshade I think where you get munched on by Slaughterfish when standing on the beach. Definitely a WTF moment.
