Exhaustive list of what carries over different alts ?

I have a character that reached about 400CP 2 years ago when I stopped playing.
Recently, I created an alt character and playing with it.
It is unclear to me what things are account wide and can apply to all characters (eventually optionally).
For example, the bank is shared. Is there any else ? I searched for a document that explain what is
account wide and how characters can relate to each others, but did not find it.
IIRC correctly when the alt will reach level 50, it will have CP points assigned but how much ?

Any collectables also carry over. Items in inventories do not carry over, but most can be moved via bank.
All of your CP are account wide. Your new character already has your CP, all you have to do is assign them.

You have your 400 cp points already and can assign them even below level 50, however you does not earn cp while leveling up to 50. Both character will raise the common cp pool.

All items with the exception of the level up rewards and some special items cannot be shared or not banked.
Stuff like transmute stones and reward boxes can not be banked so is stuck on character collecting the mail.
All of armor and weapons are shared.

Skills, titles and achievements are not shared. However mementos, pets, dye colors and outfits are shared even if achievement rewards.

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Here's a list of things which are shared, I think anything not listed is character specific, but I might have missed some.

Almost all items (except a few, usually from level up rewards) can be transfered between characters using the bank. If an item says 'bound' in it's description that means you can't sell it or give it to another player but you can share it between your characters, it's only ones which say 'character bound' that are stuck.) All currencies can either be transfered using the bank (gold, tel var and alliance points) or are account-wide automatically.

Champion points are account wide. Only characters above level 50 can earn new champion points but all characters on your account have all your earned points available to spend, and progress is shared between level 50 characters - meaning if you get 10 champion points on one character then switch to another they'll have 10 points already and if you earn another 5 playing them then switch back to the first one they'll now have 15 points to spend.

Everything in your Collectibles menu is account wide. This is DLC and other upgrades, costumes, pets, mounts, houses, emotes etc. (see the collections menu for a full list).

Outfit styles (which let you create a purely cosmetic set of armour to wear over your actual armour for a differet look) are account wide, however most of them are unlocked by finding or buying crafting style motifs and those are character specific. So if you just want a style for outfits any character can learn it, but if you want to craft items in that style too you'll need to make sure you're on the right character when you learn it.

Friends and guild lists are shared too, if you join a character or add a friend on one character that will apply to all your others too.

Here's a few important things which are not shared between characters. Bear that in mind, especially if you buy them from the crown store - make sure you're on the right character when you do:
    • bag upgrades
    • Riding lessons
    • Outfit slots
    • Skill lines
    • Skyshards
    • Crafting motifs
    • Research scrolls, XP scrolls, dye stamps and other consumables

Minor correction: bank upgrades are shared as the bank is shared.

Oh yeah, that was stupid of me. I was focusing one one-time use purchases in the crown store, and didn't think about the fact that the bank itself is shared.

I've fixed it now, thanks. :)

Take note about the crafting styles, it makes sense to have one main crafer who has priority on motifs.
Its not so relevant now with the outfit styles who is shared but they are useful for making crafted armors for the master writs.

Also furniture blueprints are also not shared they go to your main crafter.

Thanks everybody for all the details. Makes things much clearer, as this stuff is not exactly obvious.

Things that are not shareable between characters:

    1) Any item that is character bound. This is almost always limited to level up rewards.
    2) Any buffs
    3) Research queues and completed research
    4) Skyshards, lorebooks, wayshrine unlocks, achievements, any zone or quest completion or progress. Everything you discover in the game world you have to "rediscover" on a different character.
    5) Learned: Riding lessons, motifs, recipes, blueprints.
Special: Some items have special rules that will let you sell it but not bank it. OR you might have to open it and then it becomes tradeable/sellable. OR it isnt tradeable/sellable after its been open. These almost always are event related items.

    Things that are shared:
    1) All currencies including:
    * Crowns/ gems through the crown store interface
    * Gold, alliance points, tel var stones, and writs, through the bank system (Deposit/withdraw funds and then select from the drop down something other than gold)
    * Event tickets, undaunted keys, and transmute crystals are shared automatically.
    2) Champion points. any character under 50 can assign champion points up to the level of your highest character. Any characters above level 50 contribute to raising your champion point level. For example if your new character reaches level 50 and your first character has CP 423, your new character will automatically become CP 423 as well and can use all associated gear/pots/food/etc with that level. Furthermore, if you gain a CP on that new character then your other character will have 1 more CP as well. CP is leveled once per account by all characters on that account over level 50.
    3) Housing: All housing is shared between your characters
    4) anything on the collectible tab.
    5) daily rewards can be collected on one character and used on a different one( or banked) i use the all the poisons and tristat pots on my lowbies for example.
    6) Player guilds. Any player guilds you are in all of your characters are in. NPC guilds are joined individually.
    7) guild trader slots are per account as well. It would be great if they werent .
    8) Craft bag because it acts like an unlimited bank.

Im probably missing a few as well.
