Group finder making dungeons NORMAL when VET is clearly selected?

So since the "fix" for group finder my guild has been noticing that when using a preformed group and using groupfinder for the rewards, dungeon leader has ensured their settings are for vet group, and vet dungeon selected in specific dungeons. Yet when we go in it seems like groupfinder is placing us in a NORMAL dungeon. Several have tried this all with the same result.

    It's only a visual bug, had it several times. As long as the bosses still drop purple loot and the slayer achievements update properly, you're still in a Vet dungeon.

    Agreed, seems to just be a UI error. Been getting the same thing.

    Yeah, regardless of whether you walk in manually or use groupfinder to port into a vet dungeon, load screen at first shows normal dungeon screen, and only gets the Vet shield overlay after a few seconds. (Conversely, the queue for random normals shows the reverse, load screen starts with vet shield overlay until a few seconds in when it's removed.) And when in the dungeon, at top of Group screen it shows that normal is selected for the group, even when you are in vet. However, the mode is actually veteran and the loot drops/achievements are veteran.

    It's annoying - a few runs made me concerned I'd screwed up and queued as normal. Sometimes hard to tell on trash whether the DPS is good, or if you are in wrong version lol. Have to make it to a boss and get purple drops to be sure.

    Nope...we verified Group Finder was set to Vet but put us in normal 4 out of 4 times. First boss melted like they werent even there. Then when we manually entered boss was a bit harder.

    Long time ago our group had a bug where if any individual (not just the group leader) was set to normal, not vet, it defaulted to normal.
    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    New information about the bug, it seems like my newly made warden that is few weeks old is not suffering that bug! I think only characters that reached cp before the bug appeared are suffering from that bug. Even though this page is not exactly covering the bug properly, it is ui error during the dungeon, but swaps it to normal after.
