If they removed cast times the would need to balance ults, meteor for example takes forever to land, makes a noise and shows a circle on targets feet. Onslaught is just a noise you might hear in group/GC and more often than not I don't hear it. I have fiddled with the sound.

I'd prefer ults not to be animation cancelled. Stamm DKs atm leap then cancel executioner, kills people most of the time. Wardens and Necros have delayed skills, do we really need warden spin to win grps again? Instant flesh atro, BB and executioner?

Maybe zos need to look at rebalancing ults, regardless of keeping cast times. As well as making ults light Onslaught more telegraphed.

For those who are all FOR cast times, go play Stamblade where your 2/3 offensive abilities on your bar has a cast or travel time, or where your fear/cc has a GCD as well.

It's nuts when Nb has casts on 2/3 Ults, delay travel time on bow. Imagine if DK had a leap cast rime or execute had a a .4s cast; the forums would be on fire..

I came back after about 3-4 years hiatus.

Was getting incredibly frustrated with ultimate not working, seeing this post I can now see why.

There seems to be a lot of delay in the actual game as well. Skills are just taking forever to come off and seems to be even more of a delay in actions when the enemy is close to death.

I thought maybe it was because I was on an old console, which in some parts was true, I upgraded to the new console and upgraded my screen to 240hz. It still feels like I am lagging, incredibly frustrating.

Feels like I'm being cu**ed by the game half the time.

All this skill delay mixed with the disgusting dot meta makes the game a very boring and unenjoyable experience.

Thank you for this post as I now know it is time to stop playing as this will clearly just get worse.

I hate cast times in all shapes and forms, they really mess up the flow of combat.

Doesn't have to be console for this to happen. Plenty of times I've died because of this sort of thing affecting barswaps, ult usage. Sometimes, I end up spamming light attacks at near full resources too because of these. And I am on PC. Though, I feel like certain ults have their own issues. Things like Leap, audio plays, 'cast time' timer greys the ult out but never fires. I feel there's way more to this than we realize.
