People really complained about pre patch rune cage like it was the worst thing to happen to the game, now vampires drain makes rune cage look like nothing, is there anything more overpowered than warden , sorc or templar using shalk/curse/purifying, meteor then vampires drain for a 6-10k tool tip whilst having the buggiest CC the games had so far, then execute/sweeps? The CC was removed from wrecking blow which I was in support of, but the plan of no high damage CCs seems to once again let one get through its net. ZOS seriously needs to patch this problem ASAP, either half the damage, fix the bugs and make it CC at the end of the channel or remove the CC all together.

    Two of those three classes don't even use vamp drain, they have class stuns, all three if you mean stam warden.

    Most players seem to just want easy mode where they mash keys and see who can spam damage faster based on posts in the forum...various gameplay elements commonly referred to as "crutches": heals, damage mitigation, stuns, roots, LOS, CP, coordinated groups, animation canceling, block, shields, pretty much everything.

    Every year the game gets more watered down and easy, and still people complain.

    I never mean to antagonistic, so please bear this in mind when I say that if one is taking 6-10k from drain, one needs to improve his game :)

    Only excuse to take the full duration is lag or zero resources.

    Vamp drain is like a non-issue compared to other issues in this game’s PvP.
