Sorc Pets: They don't want to be ugly...

Please give one of your designers a day or two to give these pets a hot meal, shower and and a shave. They don't won't to be the ugliest pets in the game but the abuse and neglect must stop. It is time ZOS.

Yeah, I'd really like to put them on a shrink diet, personally. The flappy the size of a nixad, the clanfear about half its current size....

Yes pls. Ik this threads gonna get filled with people talking about the pet size but I would love it if they got a graphical update so they're not so pink and ugly. I wouldn't mind if they changed the scamp to a different creature.

Just imagine that your Winged Twilight has colorful ribbon streamers attached to its wings that make beautiful patterns every time it flaps around. And imagine your Clanfear with a top hat and monocle.

I'm with you there. I don't mind the purple-ish color scheme, and I don't have anything against the matriarch, but that scamp is so butt ugly that I could never bring myself to take this morph, even though it's better offensively than the clannfear. This is obviously not really a priority, but if there were skins for the pets in the Crown Store... let's just say, I'd seriously consider them.

Yes I know that he was in Crown store as a pet, which does not surprise me at all as everything better looking is the crown store item, but if we gonna dismiss every idea cos of that, the we can just abandon everything and be in peace that in-game items are pile of junk and that is it. Cos everything better looking was in freaking crown store at some point.

Flapper should be replaced small SMALL silently hovering Watcher.

Also, lots of people suggesting Atronachs, just to get rid of the wings.

Yes I know that the damn Watcher thing was at some point in freaking Clown store.
That's the reason why we are stuck with flapper.

I don have any ideas for Clannfear, leave it as it is, just smaller.

Personal insight - I stopped enjoying sorc at the same time they changed clanfears and imps to having active abilities.

The clanfear I don't mind. It's kind of dinosaur'ish (always cool) and it's definitely an iconic Elder Scrolls beastie.

But as someone who likes to play healer I've always had the matriarch with the heal. Which renders the clanfear heal superfluous. The imp aoe damage is not superfluous. That's really handy. Much more functional than the clanfear.

The scamp is ugly and kinda generic. Its colour is the only thing which links it to Elder Scrolls. There are plenty of small demon like things like it in many games.

Of course what would be perfect would be atronachs - cos those were a staple in the single player games. And wouldn't it obviously be a good idea to appeal to the huge number of fans of the single player games?

Either that or it turned out to be too hard to implement. They did do the grey Bear skin for Warden but to my knowledge that's the only pet skin in the game. Shame, because I'm sure they'd sell like crazy.

True. But it's kind of a crap skin. I got it in a free crate, but I never use it 'cause it's ugly.

I put away my sorcerers pets pretty much for good because the flappy wings always following me around sometimes gives me slight motion sickness. I keep hoping they turn it into a mosquito that lands on the sorcerers shoulder when not moving. A little tiny mosquito.

Reskinned would be nice or better would be they only last 8/16 seconds like Necros then you would not see them in towns nearly as much which is when they are annoying, and people have hate for them.

My Clannfear saw himself in a mirror and smashed it. I don't know if it was angry at the way it looked or another Clannfear appeared and challenged it.

if they want to earn money from crown store, they should add it. As a few people mentioned, there's one for the warden bear, so at least there's a kind of working function already. Can't really see the problem. Maybe a little more server load, to keep check on the skins of people's pets too, but in Cyrodiil for example, pets are pretty rare afaik.

Zos please take note.

Sorc pets are UGLY. Sort it out.

Better yet, give us the option to customise pets with skins and/or at least colours. Add pet customisation to the outfitting station or something.

Heh, I'm the complete opposite. I love the scamp but hate the sickish purple. If I could use my normal looking scamp pet as my combat pet, I'd be so thrilled.

Just another argument for different pet skins.

Absolutely. Someone said that the grey bear skin is ugly - I don't think so at all, I love my grey bear. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder

I love my Matriarch exactly at the size she is now. If someone wants to hide her or something, please add options so THEY can hide / shrink her but I see her as she is right today.

And yes, pets could use graphical upgrades and costumes.

They ARE ugly, but I've grown quite attached to them over the years... Skins and even different morphs would be really welcome though, and if Madame Flap-flap could just, like, land when she's idle I wouldn't have to constantly dismiss her. Some variation would be nice, I can imagine standing in Rawl'kha and admiring (or laughing at) other sorc's choice of pet style. I guess there'd have to be a way of distinguishing them from non-combat pets though.

My pets are being unfairly bullied because they as hideous and unsightly. They don't want to go do trials or questing any longer and I can barely convince them to leave their rooms.

ESO please stop the abuse and give them a new wardrobe and a make over. [snip]
