So I was looting barrels in Delve, and saw a Sorc with flapper, but then, revelation spawned.

So as said, I was looting barrels in one of the Delves, when Sorcerer passed by, followed by his trustworthy twilight matriarch that torment us flapping above crafting stations, banks, merchants, teleport, fish spots, kitchens, bedrooms... flap flap...
But there he was, minding his own business, an ultimate solution. Quiet, cool looking, silently hovering, majestic... The ultimate solution for Matriarch changes.
Yes I'm aware that it is not the most pressing issue, but since the Chapter is going out, there is still time to replace 3d models, no skill changes, nerfs/buffs, just replace 3d models, the thing is already pretty animated, it should be enough to shoot freaking bolts.
Also, yes it is not a daedric spawn, but it is undead enough for the role of sorcerer companion.

Honestly, that one has more of a chance than the sorc getting necro pets. The wolf doesn't look like something another class can do, there's already one wolf reskin, and the wraith is illegal in town, so having some that were fine, and others that weren't would just be confusing.2 -
Houshiki✭✭✭✭I'd prefer to keep it a daedra since its from the deadra summoning skill-line. That said, flame atronach. Its a daedra, it technically floats, and we sorcs do already have a storm atro, so why not a flame atro.4 -

✭✭✭✭✭How would a wraith be better than a matriarch? If anything, the thing looks like it would take up even more space. You could fix pets' target boxes so that they don't block interactions, but that would probably break the ability to target pets in PvP. The fact of the matter is that the only problem with pets is that people are inconsiderate and park their characters, pets out, in front of things other players want to interact with. There is no quick fix for rudeness.
Also, in TESO undead are exclusive to necromancers. Daedra summoning (scamps and matriarchs) is not the same as messing with the souls of the dead. Don't really see any point in taking up your suggestion.2 -

Each day, I get into 12+ players with matriarchs in Rimmen's crafting market. I never saw the skybox from this place. I guess it's a patchwork of bat wings, with some light behind.
And in Rimmen bank, it's not better. An afk warden's bear blocked the door last week. Had to teleport away, surrounded by flappers that blocked all interactions with bankers.
Summoning a corpse in town is criminal act, but having a constant giant bat that makes you "move your mouse" for 2mins to interact with crafting table or banker is totally normal ?1 -

Other...Skins for the Daedras are absolutely fine. I totally agree on that, because I'm playing a Sorc myself, but without pets, because I find them extremely annoying and they are totally ugly..
When I'm on tour with my warden, I release the bear before I get into town.
But I still want some diversity for the daedras and for those players who play with them.

✭I like the idea, Wraith would be a nice replacement of MatriarchI'm happy to see positive feedback on this thread cos it is pretty much clear that this subject is something that often pop ups in suggestions and Zos should take a look at it and what can be done.
And by positive feedback I also consider the people that had they complaints about wraith and had other pretty valid arguments and suggestions.
I can agree that it is more necro area and that mending spirit is on necro, but I went with it anyway since for necro it is not permanent spawn, and it is cool looking lol.
But yeah, the atronachs are also great idea.
Also, my option was always Watcher, on the profile picture.
Not too big and silently hovering eye with tentacles could be awesome. It is daedra too.
Regarding the poll, I can see that community feels that Gina needs a promotion which is cool.
Looking forward to new ideas, maybe Zos finally correct its ways.
We cannot force people to despawn pets at some areas, that is not customer friendly, but models can be reworked not to flap so much and be a wee bit smaller.
The main problem here is that it is a flying pet that is too big.

A wraith is not a Daedra.

Also, pets need to be animated, which is a whole other league compared to mere skin jobs. Have you noticed that for all the different mounts, there are only about a dozen base models? Make one, sell many (with flashier colours to set you apart from the plebs, of course).
