✭I fail to see it as remarkable, it looks pretty and nice detailed, but for me it looks as any other medieval 14-16th century armor for nobles.

Makes it almost impossible to make it stand out well =/1 -

Standard tin-can knights have never really done anything for me.
Guess that's just another example of 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'.

Well, problem is that we don't have such "medieval plate armor" right now... well, you can gather something from breton, something from silver dawn etc... but it will be nice to have actual knight armor.3 -

✭Well dang... Was gonna make a ton of gold by cashing in all my gladiator medals and selling the pages in guild store, but that thing is way too cool not to actually collect. I mean, finally a sensible heavy helm, and even better - a cuirass with actually functional tassets instead of frying pans bolted on to the hips. Never thought that I'd see the day when such a thing came around in ESO.
Still, it's not perfect mind you. There is no articulation in the frontal plate of the cuirass, meaning that it would be pretty much impossible to try and bend your torso while wearing that thing. Not if you don't want to injure yourself.
At least the greaves and sabatons look fairly functional and believablöe. Though am am not 100% sure about those gauntlets. They look fine, but I need to have a closer look. And if they do have issues, as do most gauntelts in the game, I guess I'll just have to use some other pair.
The only real issue I have, based on the pics, are the pauldrons... You were so close of getting one right ZOS, but you had to go and ef it' up just before the finishing line...
Those pauldrons are open from the top, there is a gap visible between them and the cuirass. And what's with those wings on the pieces? I mean, wings are a perfectly valid bit of protective design, but not if it is that far away from the neck! What exactly are those bits supposed to protect? Your aura of smug superiority for having almost sensible armor?
Sigh... Luckily there are couple of decent enough shoulder styles already available, and I think I can just substitute one of those, and finally make myself a decent looking heavy armor.
- After taking a second gander at the pics... It looks like the sensible tassets are actually part of the greaves, while the cuirass has silly flabby bits again, which means I can use one of the other almsot sensible cuirass parts instead of this thing, and really have a nice heavy armor at last. Dang.. Color me impressed.1 -
