I only foresee problems with implementing only solo queuing.
1 - I personally only play battlegrounds with people I know, as I main a healer and well no matter how many times you say “ Come with me if you want to live” EVERYONE just runs around like headless chicken.
2 - I’m a healer I can’t heal no one, or kill anyone so what’s my use?
3 - I can also foresee this causing more drama or toxic behaviour. For example me saying let’s group up, someone being a ass and causing an argument ect ect ect I don’t need to explain this people be toxic and silly.
4 - Because it faction lock in Kaalgrontiid and the no cp campaign being dead, this is the only place I can play my “other” characters, which I’m also not strong on and are also all healers so do they become unplayable?
Possible solutions?
One queue for groups and another for solo players?
People that battlegrounds more often being more friendly with their teammates and maybe make a friend so they don’t feel “forced” to queue solo?
There is a lot of other options here than what has been suggested.
As someone who hasn’t played pvp since faction lock came out because of how much it annoyed me is this going to take away my option to pvp with my friends at all? Ever?
Let’s discuss guys want to hear everyone’s thoughts.
Hope everyone’s having a good day

I expect many more salty tears as groupies cry because their pre-made groups can no longer beat up on solo players/noobs without a good group composition. I would like to take this opportunity to remind those folk that the rampant abuse of this behaviour is why this has happened.
Beg nicely for a separate queue, and you might get lucky.
Point 4. You know there is a cp campaign that isn't faction locked right?
Also, yes 2 q's would be the best of both worlds but they will cut the pop down and it would probably result in no bg's, only option is to see how it goes with solo q as it definitely needed changing.
I stopped doing bg's a while ago as I got bored with trying to 1v4 a fully built team all on comms and playing as a fluid unit, so Im all for trying this change out.
Just a small note and distinction from what I keep hearing.
"This is a MMO, not a single player game"
You are still in a match with/against 11 other people. It's not a solo match, it's a solo queue. It's not you vs. a bunch of NPC's...though some of you will predictably argue that with a snide remark or two. Play with your friends in the other 95% of the game.
You're still facing off/teaming with the same amount of people. A solo queue doesn't make it less of an MMO, it's just taking away the imbalance of coordinated groups against randoms. Funny how everyone claims to want good fights but are all up in arms because your mini ball group won't be able to steamroll over the other two groups so easily. You don't want good fights, you want easy wins.
This change will make high MMR matches far more interesting. Who wants interesting, actual competition though, right?

People disregard that Campaign cause its always empty.
That Campaign is always empty cause people disregard it.
A band-aid design decision with nothing in mind than lessening the stress on the activity finder, which they've proven incapable of fixing time and time again. Sorry if you wanted to play an mmo...
At least New World comes out in May

An instanced 4 man team lobby sidegame outside of the persistent world is not very MMO to begin with, it is simply a multiplayer (as opposed to 'massively multiplayer'), for which there are multitude of games that provide that. If this was a real MMO you wouldn't even have BG.

If smaller instanced pvp formats makes a game not a real MMO, then what does that make WOW?
