I love to be immersive and turn everything off. Sadly I can't get to remove one last thing on the screen.
I dont want the Area notification to show up in the top right corner anyway to remove it?
The "Gray Mire Wayshine" on the screen

✭✭✭✭✭There may be addons that would allow for removal. I think I've see folks mention you can do that sort of thing with Azurah:

✭✭✭✭✭Oh, that sucks then. I tend to not "see" stuff like that myself, so don't have a problem. It might be a "protected" part of the UI - in which case, that means they've never made the API available to the mod community.
