With vampires getting a rework with Greymoor, Can we expect to see a visual rework for them? Not too drastic, but maybe tone back the purple veins a little and make tattoos more pronounced (like making their default color black on vampires?)

To bad no one asked that question during the event. They did rework skill line and animations like feeding, so there is a possibility that they reworked a visuals.
If someone from ZOS don't update us, we will not know until it hits test server.

Personally I would be against this. I prefer them as they are, as ghastly looking as possible, as befitting their nature.

That said, an option to hide their true appearance would be a good compromise so as to cater to all tastes.

Yeah, someone asked for fangs. Bite me. (Ha!) I'd like a passive or long-lasting skill that'll take away the vampire look.

    This right here.

I prefer my vampire to be monstrous, and the stage 4 skin fits that perfectly.

They already said that they are updating Vampire appearance & appearance system
    With glowing eyes

How it will work exactly depending on how much you feed I do not know

I hope they'll change it so that vampires go pale based off their original colour instead of turning white/purple.

For those that just want to look pale and keep their original eyes, I suggest the Arctic Rime skin. Also shows tattoos, albeit very slighty faded. Sadly if you do not have it you have to wait for the return of Dragonscale crates.

I think they said something about their apearance changing with greymoor in the liveshow, when they said they were revamping the vampire skill line

I think they basically said that the look of the vampire will be based on whether they have fed (as is now) but because they are making it so when you feed you'll be stronger I think because you'll be feeding a lot more then your appearance will be less ugly?

Just an assumption. Will need to wait till we get more information. Can't wait !

Good suggestion!! I haven't played a vampire in ESO yet but I really want to. I like the idea of having a passive/skill so every player has an option.
I'd even take a tiny debuff in vamp skills for the trade off. Choose to give up a little bit of your vampire power to sustain your mortal look, if that's more important to you than your powers.

i'd rather they just make it a little more tolerable, like i said in my op, tone back the veins a bit, andmake the default color for tattoos black or something

This 100%. Don't mind the skin and the other stuff, but not having the tattoos visible annoys the hell out of me.

I can't believe no one asked that question! They were even boasting about antiquities dropping tattoo and body markings that will show up on applied skins.

I was watching it after the event and all I could think was "Geez rub it in why don't you?" I really hope they looked into the stupid fade on markings that makes them all useless on a vampire. I have no problem with the look of even stage 4 but do you have to deny us the use of what is arguably the most common cosmetic?

As i understand from presentation of Greymoor, now will be the more you feed the more monstrous you will look, this is wrong in my opinion, and have no sence. It must stay as it now, more feed more human look.
But i personally prefer monstrous look of my vampire character, so for those like me must be some vampiric skin available through main Greymoor campaign. I personally very like bat-nose Volkihar vampires from TES5: Skyrim, but without mouth scar.
    ism4lZb.png

Or, even the better option, after you became a vampire you allowed to adjust you character look through standart character creation UI, but with added options for vampire, like bat-noses, pointy ears, facial folds, eyes. So you can create monstrous vampire look even at stage 1, when you fully fed. In this case all type of players will be satisfied. And to prevent change appearance abuse, character will return to previous appearance when he cured from vampirism.

If the Khakiit uses the maomer skin they will not have the appearance of a vampire. I just claim mine is a Cyrodil vampire so I can continue to fit ESO lore.

Oh my god, thank you for reminding me, I’ve been meaning to get that skin.
EDIT: and of course I have to wait to test it out. Fingers crossed I don’t forget in the meantime
