Greymoor collectors edition question

Fightin_Irish_Johnny
I am trying to find out some information regarding my purchase of the digital Greymoor Collectors Edition. So I watched the ESO - Dark Heart of Skyrim - Global Reveal Event stream 3 days ago. And during the stream Pete Hines was talking about purchasing the collectors addition. It caught my attention because he said that if we were already an ESO plus member with an active subscription we could "gift" the 30 days of free time to a friend.

I am wondering if this actually is something possible. Has Zos-Eso incorporated a way to actually do this ? Or is this something they intend to due with the Greymoor expansion ? I have often wondered if there was any way to send an invite to a friend for ESO. It seems in the past there has never been a way to do this.

If anyone has any feedback about how to do this I would appreciate hearing back. So far in looking at my account it shows my collectors edition and a list of all the digital items included but I see nothing regarding the ability to send the 30 days playtime to anyone. My subscription just shows the ESO plus is active and the next billing date for it to auto renew as normal.

I hope this thread does not cause any backlash to Zos-Eso. If it's something that was misspoken on I am OK with that . But if there is a way to gift the time that would be awesome.

Thanks for reading and any feedback.

Cheers

The ESO+ free 30 days is included in the physical box set, not the digital editions.

oh I see. Thanks. That makes more sense. Likely there is a flyer in the box set that someone could give to a friend.
