Just wondering.
Was going to release this poll last night but I realized in making it how much I myself screwed up on the purchase. Buying the 79.99 dollar version basically paying over 30 dollars more then I had to. When I could have had the digital collectors edition much cheaper then that. With tax costing 85 dollars refund seems to be still pending most likely having to wait for Zenimax to give the go ahead or deal with it on their end but steam has done their part. . Once it goes through I will use the refund to buy the 49.99 version. Can't believe I was an imbecile and not catching into that sooner but well. At least hopefully Zenimax understands my reasons for the refund.
Anyways which version do you plan to buy if any? Hopefully my mistake will prevent you from making the same mistake I did.
Edit I misclicked and because of this I had to redo the poll options. Not going to buy it at all was going to be an option when I redid the poll options I forgot to include it. Can put not buying it, if you not planning to buy it.

Haha indeed, the difference tho is that I miss-clicked only in the poll.
I do believe that if you bought through ESO store, they will switch versions and refund no problems, not sure how it will go through Steam tho, since they are 3rd party seller and taking a sales cut.0 -

Well its shown as still bought on my eso account. When logged in still have the horse and everything. Funds are still pending so I think the hold up is the communication of it. Because I do want to switch out the version but have to wait for that to do anything I think. Funds are pending till that communication happens I think. Oh its saying $85.79

✭✭✭✭✭Greymoor Digital Upgrade $39.99I don't like the zombie dogs, have no interest in an outfit style that looks like generic medium armour and almost never use mementos or emotes, so the collectors edition would be a total waste of money for me. I do like some of the pre-purchase items, but haven't decided yet if I want to pay full price to get them, or wait for the inevitable sale just after release and buy it at a discount.
Somehow January (when ZOS usually announces the next chapter) never seems to be a good time for me to buy games, so I'll probably end up waiting until about April or May to decide as a bunch of other stuff will have sorted itself out by then. My subscription is currently cancelled but I’m making a good community here so it’s most likely “peer pressure” that will get me to sub again, nothing that Zos has done.
I do like the death hound/ vampire dog mount And the Ragnar the Red emote available in the collectors edition. But they resell the collectors edition at later dates, the only thing they don’t sell again is pre-purchase bonuses. And these bonuses are not worth it. So no pre-purchase from me, and maybe I’ll get option 2 on sale later if I’m still here with my buds.
Had there been a class or a skill line that you can’t access unless you purchase, then that would be a different story. No new class (Warden, necro) no new skill line (jewelry crafting, psijic) so there’s no rush.#FiteForYourRite Bosmer = Stealth
