Hello everyone,

I just wanted to say that I'll be leaving the game due to serious health issues and personal problems that have sadly just arisen in my life.

As such this is a qutting thread, but more so of an appreciation thread to all those players and community as a whole that has made this game an amazing and enjoyable experience for me, and held me at least remotely sane in the hardest times of my life. I'd like to thank the devs, bethesda and zenimax both, for creating such a truly epic and unique experience, for writing so many enjoyable and breathtaking stories as well as creating some of the most beautiful virtual landscapes out there. It has truly been an honor to play this game, meet new people, and completely turn off from the messed up and cruel world that we call "reality".

I cannot find any more words, even thought I would love to, as I feel this is a bit too brief, and I also wish that I didn't have to leave at this time, just as I started enjoying this game the most out of all the years I've spent playing. As much as it hurts me, it has to be done. I have been recently diagnosed with an illness that is forcing me to put all my energy, time and effort into more important things than playing the game.

So this is me saying: Goodbye ESO, goodbye friends, goodbye adventures, goodbye all you silly nilly funny people on the forum, who always make my day brighter, goodbye all of you who helped me get better and stay in the game. Hopefully this won't be the last time I'll be speaking on these forums.

Sincerely,
Nyl Aden Rheas

I wish you all the best on the path you're about to walk and that you have loved ones who'll be with you! It's not quite the same, but I know what it is like to live with a chronic illness that keeps impairing your life, and how much easier it is to deal with it if your family supports you.

I really hope you'll get through this stronger than you were before and that you'll want to come back to us and the game afterwards :)
This poor little Bosmer stealth passive had passionate friends and a big loving family!
