So around 40:35 into the stream there is talk about Antiquities.
Mentions two new mini games with two associated skill lines;
* Scrying (seeing) - colour, shape matching mini game
* Excavation (digging), minesweeper/battleships minigame

Any idea how fully fleshed these skill lines are? Having a hard time imaging them beyond passives like racial lines.

Pure speculation but I guess you could move the fast resource gather CP passive into Excavation, but that seem too soon. They both look resource / non-combat based but yeah, pity no details. Was anything more discussed in the post show? Not watched that completely yet.

    They will be like Legerdemain and/or Dark Brotherhood imho. Solely passives.

    Maybe they are even under the profession's tab.

    Really glad they mentioned about there being a mode for colour blind people. (Points to self)

    I expect there will be an initial passive like the Psijiic skill line, which allows you to access antiquities/relics if you are in the right location. Further passives might make it easier to find them or skip the minigame (like forcing locks in lockpicking). We will have to wait until early April for more information though, around the time when Greymoor hits PTS.

    Rich commented that they also use different shapes. That implies that the shape will differentiate rather than color, for some people.

    My impression was that advancement in the skill lines will make obtaining the artifacts easier and more rewarding. Better loot could be obtained at higher skill levels?

    Unfortunately, those sound about as fun as lockpicking. :s:/
    The rewards sound nice, though.

    I do have some concern when they say that there will be player skill involved. Lock picking is such a system. My worry is that they are tying player skill to the quality of the reward, which will be terribly unfair to anyone who has dexterity issues (age or physical limitations)
