How did they count 80k? According to twitchtracker the peak was at around 48k viewers https://twitchtracker.com/bethesda/streams/36681998144
But I bet they count unique logins. And it was considerably less than last year's 135k!

It was counting across Twitch, Mixer, Youtube, and Facebook.
The 80K was across all streaming channels and that was easily met. They did no meet the upper one. We will all still get the bat pet. Add in that 5:00 PM on a weekday prevents many people from having access to the streams and the numbers are not bad at all.

I lasted five to ten minutes then turned it off. The cringy overly enthusiastic (some of which are paid to be there) crowd was too much to take. It just seemed so insincere and forced.

Not surprised they did not get huge numbers. Some people have to get up early for work and so would not have time to watch live.
no, they had fewer people this year. And it deserves to be like that.
And i see most 66K people
