So the new chapter is gonna involve vampires, but no mention of the Dawnguard?

Not even a possible new skill line related to them?

Wow, this is pretty disappointing... I thought we were gonna get a chance to see the original Dawnguard, since it was formed during the Second Era, which is exactly the era which ESO takes place...

I really hope you guys are just omitting their inclusion for now, because it would be a huge waste to not include the Dawnguard in this chapter.

If the dawnguard are added I think they would be more as bad guys given the lore on them. They were a mercenary group that did vampire hunting and according to Isran became vampires themselves and Terrorized the rift till they had to be put down. Plus we do have the dawnguard crossbow and the fighters guild skill line would be what the dawnguard would likely to be anyways so I can see why they are not doing it.

They're revamping the Vampire skill line, so they could do the same to the fighter's guild skill line.

Honestly, the crossbow skill never made much sense in the fighter's guild skill line anyways.

IMO it will be like with dragons - there wasnt any dragon born who can defeat them so even this time. No dawnguards only poor people who struggle with vampire invasion.

Yeah! I thought Fighter Guild skill lines would improve stamina weapons skills, give them more variety because you know? They are fighter that mostly use melee weapons! But much to my disappointment.....it's just there so they won't make crossbow.....

They didn't mention what will be in Zone DLC, perhaps its good way to increase vampire population and then introduce skill line against them that's will be useful in PvP.

Ideally, vampirism would cause players to gain a bounty when in town, which could help deal with the thousands of players running around with vampirism like it's an epidemic. Even more ideally, dawnguard would be a thing, and dawnguard players could attack vampire players who have a bounty. Like the good old days in SWG, between bounty hunters and jedi.

In ESO the Fighters guild is an all encompassing Fighters guild for the game.
Hence why it has passives that do more damage to Daedra, Vampires, & Werewolves

They don't want to add redundant skill lines

I'm glad that they've developed an independent story line for the Skyrim expansion, no need to rehash every storyline from esV.

I'm very disappointed in the feeding change for vampires though.
