Won't do a thing for the PvP community. They need to reformat BGs, get rid of MMR, add another form of PvP such as a dueling arena, make IC and especially the sewers worth going to, and fix Cyrodiil.

Adding Cyrodiil sets and new siege tells me they don't understand what's wrong with PvP and why it's stagnant.

Pop lock is 100 players per faction. 1k dedicated pvp accounts daily isn’t important.
Dressing up talking cats and whacking mobs brings in more revenue.

There technically is already a Dueling Arena in-game, it's been there since Dueling was introduced. It's just west of Wayrest.

After thinking about it for a while, I think I'm most upset this means we'll probably never see Winterhold. They're not going to give us another content expansion in Skyrim any time soon. This is it, and they're wasting it on vampires.

Super underwhelmed.

Morrowind: new zone, new class, new game style (BGs), new trial = $40
Summerset: new zone, new guild, new crafting line, new mini trial = $30
Elsweyr: new zone, new class, new trial = $40
Skyrim: new zone, new trial, new...mini games? = $40

Greymoor is looking to be, by far, the least content heavy chapter but carrying the same price as the chapters that included a new class.

And for anyone that says "vampire skill line getting revamped", there's no way that will be exclusive to the new chapter. It would be a coding nightmare to have some people running current vampire state and people who buy the chapter running the new one. It will likely be a base game update released concurrently with Greymoor so yeah, not included in that $40 price tag.

I guess they could have announced Greymoor would have a landmass three times the existing size of Tamriel, 2 new races, 3 new classes, and a multitude of new skill lines, not to mention 3 new forms of PvP, and some players would still say it was disappointing, underwhelming, and not worth getting until it was free

Vamp skill line and animations have needed a rework for a long time. Hopefully it becomes more of a playstyle choice and less of a thing you have for passives.

I mean if you're honest to yourself and compare the Chapters there isn't really much speaking for Greymoor when it comes to features or new stuff. That isn't even negativity or pessimism, it's the obvious truth.

to be honest nothing exited. skyrim map will take 1 -2 days to finish, no new class, no new race. just mytic items?
dungeon and trials are standart as always. only really big change is client size will be 30 gb smaller.

now that i think of it, the last chapters, all had either a new class or skill line, i wonder if the new antiques thing will have a skill line.

Depends on why you play the game. If you spend all your time in Cyrodiil, then maybe not as much of a draw. If you do dungeons and trials, then this has a trial, and we know that it includes some new game play mechanics involving grapples.

The overland zone looks like it will cover the Solitude and Morthal areas, but about half of the zone will be underground, which is probably the most amazing part of the TES 5 Skyrim environment. I am excited that the didn't make Black Reach a trial.

I will spend a lot of time doing antiquities and building that skill line.

I'm personally very excited overall with Greymoor, getting to go to Blackreach again is very intriguing, and the vampire rework announcement made me very happy! The antiquities system sounds good on paper, I want to interact with it in game to have a better idea on how that system works, but overall definitely looking forward to Greymoor!
