Vampirism and tattoo, a big misconception.

Hello Eso team.

A tattoo is an artificial pigment implanted in the skin. There is no point that in the vampirism the tattoos get faded. It's as if a vampire's clothing turns a lighter color when he wears it.

My character has a big tattoo on his face that just disappeared.

It is not a misconception by any measurement and it seems odd one would even use that word in this context. Spaceman is correct, just bad order or layering.

The misconception that get me is that ZOS apparently thinks that fur is different from hair. Anatomically speaking, its not.

So the poor khajiit who's fur gets bleached but their hair stays dark just makes me go "Okay, who needs a science lesson on how skin pigmentation works?" According to ZOS, apparently vampirism effects the skin pigmentation everywhere on the body except for the scalp.

Yes but dead bodies do, and tattoos don't wash out like a bad dye job when you die.
Vampires are dead who got a new life thanks to magic. doesn't mean the tats should wash out like water-paint.
What are Natch Potes? Can you eat those?
    I believe in Genie-Gina.

    Normal Skin
    Tattoos
    Vampirism

= sad tatts and sad marketing department

You’d think they’d be on this to fix the layering order just to cash in on the amount of player base that are excluded from purchasing tatts simply because they are Vamps

It could be intentional, whatever the reason.

They don't seem to understand how scales and reptile skin works either.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!
