Do you play with player titles on or off? Personally I enjoy seeing what others have accomplished, but am curious as to what others do.

I don't have nameplates on but I have the titles on so I see them when I target a person.

Most of the titles don't mean anything to me, I couldn't tell you where it came from or what they had to do to earn it, but I like when it sounds like something that suits the character.

I usually keep the nameplates off as i feel it clutters my screen so i only really see the titles when i hover over/look at people

When I first started ESO I had nameplates and titles all on but found it was too much clutter so now I only have names visible.

Most of my characters I play without, but one character I used to PvP with is Kulliq the Merciless.

I only see player names/npc names upon mouse over and the titles are there I think.

Since most players have a whole bunch to choose from, it's always interesting to see what one they pick. Especially the Librarians, and similar extreme bas-add titles.

Like others have said, I only have them on hover, because there's too much clutter otherwise. But I too like to see what others have achieved and chose to display.

Most are too pretentious for me. I'd like to see some useful ones - like Healer and Tank. And some fun ones like Little Mortal and Milk Drinker.

Oh yes, some more 'funny' titles would be welcome.

I also think of 'travelling merchant' or 'drunkard' or 'stablemaster' or 'aprrentice', 'adept'....to have more differentiation, we can't all be heroes, master wizards or champions.

So yeah, i like those titles.

That said it can be annoying in PvP at times to try and find the names amongst the titles.

... but that I do this is certainly not so I can see what others have "accomplished." It's a bloody video game. The notion of "accomplishments" in a video game is just laughable to me, as are "achievements" and "trophies" they force on us console users.

I'm always interested in what others select as titles for their characters, so yes, I have them on.

Most of my own chars don't have many titles to choose from except for my main (my achievement collector); he chose to be known as a 'Librarian' until he finally managed to get the 'Explorer' title.
