Hello!

Can I buy Soul Gems? I am trying to solo Craglorn missions and spent like 90 sould gems and now I can only return back to thw wayshrine.

Craglorn is like Dark Souls with lag.

Where can I buy them?

Thank you!

Guild Merchants usually have them, most of which are parked outside Belkarth.

I also think Mages Guild sells them.

Use Tamriel Trade Center. It will tell you which guild merchants have filled soul gems and where they are located.

If you slot the Soul Trap skill into your bar and use that skill to kill easy enemies like wasps or even kill some mud crabs, you can fill those empty soul gems and get some filled soul gems for free :)

Good idea! The Craglorn mobs are really annoying to grind.

Whenever you go into an Ayleid ruin look for a plate next to the respawn point, there is usually a soul gem just sitting there. Also delve bosses will frequently drop one, sometimes filled sometimes not.
Taking stealth away from the Bosmer is like taking magic away from the Altmer, making Nords allergic to mead, or making Orcs pretty.

Grind dolmens, you’ll get empty and filled gems. I always put a point into the soul magic “skill” that gives a chance to fill soul gems. Over time you’ll end up with more than you need. Think you can buy them at the gate in cyrodiil as well..

You can buy empty soul gems from the Mages Guild, and you can slot an ability and use it on creatures so that when you kill them their soul will fill an empty gem.

Most of the guild traders have filled soul gem listing close to 30g each, same price as selling them to a NPC merchant.

@fetito666, what server are you on? And if it's NA PC/Mac, what is your account name or character name? I'll send you a stack of filled soul gems. I have more than I could ever use.

    This.

Once they made Soul Trap actually do some damage and it started to be useful (was it the Wrathstone patch?), I couldn’t stop filling souls gems. Now my bank is so full of them I can’t imagine ever running out.

Take a bunch of empty souls gems into any dungeon, delve or mob rich area, kill things and watch your soul gem mountain grow.

Although, if you’re burning through 90 at a time, you might want to reevaluate your strategies, cos that’s vMA levels of dying.

You should also do the enchanting crafting writ, it takes 30 seconds and rewards soul gems most times. Mages guild sells them and PvP merchants sell them, I believe the fighters guild also sells them.

Also, even though we've pointed out that empty soul gems can be bought from the Mages Guild, there are many places where you can find empty soul gems lying around. Just be sure you're sneaking and hidden when you pick them up!

Once you find a location that has them lying around, if you go to that location but there are no soul gems, just log out and log in again to try to force them to respawn.

Or, if you don't want to log out because you're afraid you might have trouble logging back in again, use the owned-housing-to-housing-preview trick to attain the same results-- except you have to go through 3 loading screens, so it's longer than logging out and logging in again.

The best way to get free soul gems is treasure chest hunting. Chests often have soul gems! And you also find other goodies to make some profit from, while spending only time and a slight effort picking the locks, which advanced legerdemain anyhow... just memorize treasure chest locations in one place, and then go from spot to spot, any chest opened will respawn elsewhere, so if you have a good location memory, you can practically make a never ending treasure chest circuit until your intentory is full with stuff, then sell and repeat...

The best way to fill them is advancing the soul magic world skill line and go for soul lock - at a 10% chance you can easily fill piles of thise things en passant while doing your normal questing.

You can buy empty soul gems at the mages guild, yeah, and find filled ones in guild stores.

And yes, some places have soul gems lying around as decoration, and some bosses to drop them as well... but those can be much harder to get at a steady rate.

    ...

As for Craglorn... well, half of it is solo player balanced now, but yeah, much of lower craglorn is still more geared for a full group of four people. You -can- solo the group content, or at least most of it... but only if you are really, really good. (I still only get to a 50/50 chance with my best characters, tho I admittedly am only an adequate player when it comes to my skill at being effective in combat...)

Mystic merchants sell empty soulgems. Use (soul magic line) soul trap to fill (also a dot) or put a point in soul lock passive
Soulgems tend to pile up if doing delves, dolmens, treasure chests and tresure maps.
