There are 3 slots per class.
6 classes, 18 slots
It is fine as is. You'll most likely get 3 more (1 free with chapter, 2 more to buy with crowns) when a new class comes out.
Personally, I wish I could roll all my characters into just 6 characters with a proper build load out selector, like profiles each with their own attribute, cp, gear, skills, and even racials.
This ever expanding list of characters is just not sustainable IMO. Dilutes the game.

But (to the main point of my post) - wasn’t it 14 slots after Morrowind, and 18 after Elsweyr... so we must have gotten slots with Summerset, no?
Hence my “hope” that it is one free & two extra slots for purchase with DHoS.

Edit: 2 extra slots fingers-crossed
I’ve only played not even a year and have 3 level 50’s geared up too. I say I barely even put time into eso. Even did 90% of story quest and mostly played casually. Even had time to paint stuff irl and even play a few other games.

I don't see any need to add more charslots. I also see no harm if they were to do it, but still It's completely unnecessary. At least make an actual good argument why 18 isn't enough.

- make Crafting Dailies per account so that the RMT bots can't get even richer per day doing writs with Dolgu's Lazy Writ (or maybe even their own custom addon).
- make collecting all your stuff from all your alts (e.g., Hirelings) a one-click process (like collecting daily rewards) that dumps it all in your Crafting Bag. Extra slot or no, this would be an excellent Quality of Life improvement. I'd even trade daily rewards to have it. @ZOS_GinaBruno

Less than a year of eso and 18 characters and here I am playing since 2016 (between comings and goings) with 5 characters (one of each class except for dk), which 2 of them are just mules for years already XDNupidStoob wrote: »Of course it's enough. I have to agree with them. I always got curious about how ppl like OP actually enjoy the game: probably questing only and roleplaying (those kind of things you can do even at lvl 3 tutorial), since to leveling skills, gear and such would be a chore among all of them.
That being said, i'm just measuring others through my eyes, and I know its none of my business about what other ppl wants, but there is much more important stuff to be implemented on the game than this.

It's never been about "actively playing" all 18 characters. I actively play maybe 5-6 at any given time, but aside from my true main, the characters I play rotate based on game balance and preference. Those 18 character slots are filled up with variants of mag dps, stam dps, tanks, healers, pvp builds, etc. Also the fact alone that characters are permanently locked to an alliance in pvp is enough justification for a much higher cap. Deleting characters and rerolling a different alliance is not an option.
And what harm is there? It's 2020, data storage is as cheap as it's ever been. There is no good reason NOT to simply increase character cap.

I absolutely agree, and do the same thing. I make sure they all play different zones so I'm not immediately repeating things, or doing different achievements. I have 18 slots on NA, and play as above - usually 8-9 at any given time. I also have 9 slots on EU. I would absolutely buy more slots.
If you don't play all the slots, fine - there are people who create various combinations, and I have not reached the extent of the possibilities. If they increase the slots, it doesn't hurt anyone. Don't want 'em, don't buy em.
PS: I actively support achievement sharing across toons, (non-skill related) - and especially for eidetic lorebooks. I find the fact achievements aren't shared inhibits my ability to explore with different toons, because my main is my achievement toon. Until she does it, no other toon can. Would drive me bonkers to have one achievement on an alt that my main doesn't have yet... Anyway, that's my 10 cents.
