-Melee when I am tanking but also magic/a lot of my support skills use magic and I back bar a resto quite a bit due to fake healers.
-Bow when I switch to overland content and actually want to be able to kill stuff quickly.
-Magic in PVP, fire staff front bar, resto back bar for when I surf Zergs for AP.
All on the same character I keep my CP set up for PVP and reset my attributes when switching from PVE to PVP or back again.
Would not say no to a Bazooka though, that should speed up overland quite a bit.0 -

Prayer.... group prayer is always the most powerful tool for the taking down of stongholds.... then a f/u with the sword of the spirit for close quarters combat

✭✭✭✭✭MeleeHonestly my first thought is why choose? My main character is a hybrid stam/magicka templar who uses a bow, dual wield and magic (templar spells) about equally, depending on the situation.

In eso, it’s more satisfying to kill mobs up close imo so I chose melee. But it doesn’t matter, even if you prefer melee you need range skills and AOE so you end up using a bow anyway.
