I just read some amazing news about eso. There is cross play coming. OMG I cant wait. soon we will all have to re download the game. Yes, they saying this will fix LAG issues. I for one cant wait for cross play and new dlc dungeon.(hopefully with my dream monster set of heavy attack bonus while doing damage done.) Back on topic check out this Forbes interview on the topic. I'm super excited. What do you think about cross play? Let's talk eso and the future.

Google Stadia I think is a streaming service or cloud based thing. Does not mean Crossplay with Consoles just compatiblity with the Google Stadia services most likely. So the idea of it being crossplay between consoles and pc will likely not be a thing at all.

Quoting from that article here some of it down below.I reached out to Bethesda for comment on the timing of ESO on Stadia and heard back that even though it’s not hitting the platform until 2020, Matt Firor, president of ZeniMax Online Studios, has confirmed that the game will feature functioning cross-play for Stadia and all PC players on both the EU and NA megaservers.
“This works in exactly the same way that Steam users and regular ESO PC users play on the same servers,” says the spokesperson.
Which is great news for ESO players because that means if you’re already on PC or Mac then you won’t need to start fresh on new servers. However, it does raise the question of whether or not you’ll need to make a new account with new characters, or if your existing Steam and/or Bethesda account will work with the Stadia version.
So it will be like the steam version of the game likely with its own launcher. I don't know if it will be cross compatable with steam. I do think it will work similer to have the steam game runs depending on how they set up the services. The question is will they allow Steam Crossplay with the Google services.

✭✭What this will do is likely make it so players could maybe play eso on their tablets. Phones and other devices like tvs. Could this mean the game could be accessible to console players I hope not I really do hope they do not allow console players to play pc version or pc players to play console version with these services at the same time. As this might make the performance situation worse if they did allow true cross play between the consoles and pc players even in a proxy form. So if they do this I think it should be restricted to Pc or Console versions to the platforms respective devices. Its fine if players can play on their tablets or smartphones but I wouldn't advise it. I doubt many would. But the service will likely still allow that.
