The answer is a resounding maybe.

I’m on PC/NA post-patch. The DF queuing system is actually worse. Takes longer to add to a group, also never got added for a normal random. And just now a vet Pledge group finished one pledge and tried to go on to another vet pledge as a group. The system wouldn’t move us to the dungeon. Tried re-queuing, re-grouping, even mapping to the dungeon (it put us in normal). Group finally gave up and disbanded. No, it’s not working. And just before some Events ...

Well, I guess there might be another problem, which happened to me yesterday (7 JAN). I don't know whether it was a random one just happened to me, or others also experienced similar issues.

I queued for vet daily pledges, miraculously got one on FG1 (yesterday's daily) , started running it and noticed that the adds and bosses were dropping like flies. Checked the difficulty, and saw that it was "some how" on normal ?!?!?! (btw, it was dropping purple gear!!?!?! and I was pretty sure that I queued for vet)

Regardless, I did not want to go through the hassle of re queuing and moved on to last boss and saw the scroll on ground ?!?!?! Did read it, changed it to difficult mode ?!?!?! , killed the boss and got my monster helm. The final boss was somehow proper vet hm (health wise and damage wise) unlike the rest of the dungeon.

Left the group, as queuing for the Selene (again yesterday's vet) failed without finding anything even though it was a 4 men group. Queued for Selene again and made sure that it was vet. Same thing happened. normal mode whole dungeon with purple drops until end, proper hm boss at the end after scroll. and again showed normal difficulty when ported to dungeon, despite it clearly showed the shield icon on the loading screen.

As a side note, also could not changed the difficulty from normal to vet after finishing FG, while trying to queue for Selene.(was not in fight)
