Does Deliberation Passive Proc on Mend Wounds Heavy Attack?

Will a restoration staff heavy attack with the Mend Wounds ability toggled on proc the Deliberation passive (While you are casting or channeling a Psijic Order ability you gain Major Protection, reducing your damage taken by 30%)?

If it works I'm thinking it could be fun to try along with Light of Cyrodiil on an Altmer.

Even if it does (and it probably does) the dmg reduction wouldnt be additive but multiplied, resulting in 43% reduction rather than 50%

One thing I’ve learned in the last years, basically nothing interacts with Mend Wounds (passives from other skill lines than Psijik Guild itself, sets etc).

And how would you even perform a Restoration Staff heavy attack with Mend Wounds activated? That will get replaced by the new Light and Heavy Attacks from Mend Wounds.

This isn’t true anymore. I didn’t know the answer so didn’t answer the OP, but siphoning strikes and the warden ability that heals on a light attack both proc off symbiosis.

No , you can't .

You lose your attack ability during Mend Wounds mode .
