What race to pick for 2020 - new player guide

Here is my race guide for the elder scrolls online. It is takes into account the changes made not long ago so is up to date and It covers all roles for pvp and pve and explores each race and relevant lore and what is best for each role so I hope it will help people building or who are new to the game.

That’s not true... at least in pvp. If you really wanted to min-max magplar is Altmer. Nords are also great on any class.Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab

What's funny is that it's not so much the race that's the issue but the sets and that 90%+ power comes from sets and rotation. As such, it means it you want to maximise the set effectiveness some races work better period. Furthermore, in pve things like resistances, health and your main off stat are completely disregarded and so you get this meta where it's push damage as high as you can whilst still being able to sustain with no regard for other factors and so races that offer stuff beyond regen seem to get punished as the set combination + regen race is better.

To me, they can do anything well (tho not bis).

Id go for the 200 metres mate, I mean each to their own, but unless youre really fit Id leave the longer races alone.

1) Ask yourself if you want to pay extra IRL money for "any race any alliance" pack-thing on a game you're new to.
2) Ask friends which Alliance they're mostly in (because, maybe you'll try pvp some day)
3) Realize that if you answered "no" at step 1, you have only 3 choices in race picking.
4) Pick the one that supposedly matches best with your target role.

Any race is only needed if you do Cyrodiil - I would suggest it as most usually get ESO+ and the 1st month of that pretty much pays for it so no harm there and besides it's a one-off purchase. I do get what you mean though.Unified Gaming - creating a shared and Unified Gaming community.
