    Stamsorc:

Pros - They can easily pull players out of Stealth, they have incredible sustain which makes it easier to run 2 dmg sets.
They have great healing If u have decent crit, they are also the fastet nodefarming class because streak skill.

Cons - Forced to use dizzy swing as spammable that hits NBs 1/10 times If Lucky.

    Stamblade:

Pros - U have class spammables that hits like a truck, u can go invisible when the fight doesnt go your way or you can teleport to a nearby location of your choosing, you can have fun trolling ppl, no identity classes forced to use dizzy swing will always miss

Cons: Everyone will hate u just because u are a nightblade, and will 9/10 times tbag u If they kill u, squishy af but resists can be improved with resist pots/protective traits etc. be creative :)

Stamsorc is a good and tanky allround class both for pve and pvp, stamblade is better for PvP and making enemies :)

My advice, play with both.. Find out which one u like to play the most. Doesnt matter what ppl tell u in here, they are just telling u their own experience with the classes, u shouldnt let that stop u from trying everything 👍

Ditto, stamsorc is pretty Hurricain (speed/resists), Surge (HoT), Dark Cloak (replaces sustain set), and Streak (more mobility/CC).

NB: that's one kind of NB, but NB's also have the highest mitigation ceiling. So very tanky NB's can be built. Players choice for anything along the spectrum.

What could you say about magblades? I really like it's playstyle, but everyone says its "underperforming" right now.How much of an obstacle is that?

I've heard that stamblades are still decent in PvP, though I don't have direct experience with that.

In PvE, stamblades are in a terrible spot. They were nerfed into the ground- my first character when I started the game in spring/summer 2018 was a stamblade, and I think they were BiS back then, though I chose the class simply because I like the rogue archer archetype. The class has a bit of a learning curve, but man was she strong once I got the hang of it. Then ZoS took away our (stamblade's) major fracture and minor berserk, and mine feels like a shadow of her former self right now and has been relegated to crafter for the foreseeable future. I'm not one to chase to meta at all costs, so I was OK when they started to be less powerful, but the nerfs didn't stop and at this point it's all risk and no reward to play.

PvE magblades are actually stronger than they've been in a while- they've been nerfed harder than stamblade and were at the bottom of the DPS pile for a while. I'd say they're mid-tier in terms of mag DPS and still on the lower end overall, but in experienced hands they can be quite powerful.

I don't have any experience with stamsorcs, but I don't think I see people playing them very often....

Spot on, but stamsorc is pretty good if you master it.

It’s an obstacle, but the class is still playable and you can do well with one. To give you a good comparison, a good game on my magplar I’ll go 18-1, on my MagWarden I’ll go 14-4, and on my magblade I’ll go 8-4.

If you’re solo magblade is fun, in BGs they’re squishy and brawls favour aoe which NBs lack. They also lack a burst heal so it’s hard to brawl it out like other classes. I mix damage and healing and it still feels weakish, class heals > resto heals for burst heals. The class is designed to retreat under pressure, and BGs are all about constant pressure.

Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten

Idk about stamsorc but stamblade is kinda in a rough spot right now. Dark cloak builds (which actually use dizzy swing) are really hard to pull off given the change to 7th legion a couple patches ago. Cloakblades are strong. Like you can still rip with one still yea but its really tough to do so as you can't really run a cc to put out the damage you need. It's also pretty rough in high mmr bgs. I think it's getting buffs within the next patch though. Stamplar and stamdk are in a much better place in pvp right now but I am almost certain DK will be getting some nerfs next patch.
