so, cyrodill is laggy, glitchy and in a terrible place as it is, bringing mid year mayhem is jsut going to make a heck of a lot worse, and I very much doubt that htey'll go ahead with the event, it'll more than likely follow the same way undaunted did where it'll run for a 30 mins before they figure it's not going to work. personally I owuldnt mind not having mid year mayhem if they put some time and work into fixing what's wrong with cyrodill.

✭Oh, there will be mayhem alright. I predict it will be cancelled after the first or second day, when the servers completely give out.

wild_kmacdb16_ESO✭✭✭✭✭Well, Cyro has population caps already in place to prevent things from getting too far out of control (hopefully).
BGs are probably the bigger concern since it uses the group finder, but even then I dont think it will be as bad as undaunted, since even with the event I suspect a lot of people will just dip their toe in for the achievement and then forget about it... some people might not even do that as they want nothing to do with PVP.

The caps haven't saved Cyro from turning into a burning pile of s... khm, bluescreens and crashes before and they won't save it now. Game still can't manage 50-60 players at the same place that well.2 -

✭the last one was canceled because of group finder so nobody cares about cyro. furthermore we have new additional problems with bgs matchmaking system. it will be interesting to read their excuses

✭BGs start regardless of the number of players that join and they prevent people from joining once the initial lot joins to prevent them from getting sucked into bugged BGs that never started.
They should just revert to the old method. getting a 5 minute ban for leaving a bugged on isn't nearly as bad as the 15-20minute one.1
