Potato is one of them terms that is not so negatively uhh.. painted (in lack of a better word now that just woke up) anymore here imo. It is same as nowadays people might even themselves say "i am a total noob" and laugh to themselves too after mistakes.

So more like noobs and potatos are just.. cute, innocent, still new.. and running to their deaths - often repeatedly and willingly.

I`ve even had a direct message to me saying: "I`m a total potato what comes to pvp, so i have a few questions to ask if you would be kind enough to spare a moment of your time?"

So not all take it so seriously or as a negative word, more like humorous term for the drunken bumfights tier yolo specialists, be they new or old players.
