I would like to see NA and EU somehow connected, Whether we can guest to the opposite server (even if it cost a little money), Have our accounts on both with everything the same and all update live or however, any other ideas would be appreciated and hopefully someday soon it will happen

Before I get to the story I'm sure this has been said before I just want to add to it.

I'm a PC gamer, and I'm sure most if not all gamers play whenever they can. Day, Night whenever where ever you are.

But this game dies sometimes way before Midnight for me and sometimes if lucky on weekend just after midnight, I think this could be fixed and should be fixed its killing it for me a little. I love this game and wanna play more just a pain for me. See below.


So I work shifts on-off, day and night. Sometimes I come off a dayshift and could be on night shift the following night so I need to stay up all night, My go-to is ESO but I am forced to do quests/solo content which is great but I wanna continue learning trails and farming for better gear but am unable to because barely anyone else is on doing these things.

Then I may jump on twitch and see people doing these and I could be doing it with them. But have to start from scratch, I put way too much time into my current account already (Nearly unhealthy amount of hours) which is daunting to think I would be tempted to do that all over again just to play at night then play on my main server when My real-life friends are on and jump back and forth.

    This game is World Wide...I have East Coast /West Coast American Guilds + European guilds and Aussie Guilds on PC/NA.
    Always people on usually no matter the time of day. Just find the right guilds or Just make one, you arnt the only one with night shifts I am sure, and some people are Vampires only playing in night. Keep looking for guild join some discords... or get you RL friends a job where you work :P

    Do what many of us have done. Develop your game on both servers.

    I understand your difficulty.

    After playing for several years on PC NA, I created new alts on PC EU. Rather a challenge with no Grand Master Crafter and no CP810. But you can do it, and knowing the game it will only take a few months to get to the same level as your other server. For example creating an Orc crafter will speed up your crafting. There is no cost in creating new alts on your second server. To be honest I quite enjoyed the process.

    PC EU goes quiet after midnight and PC NA goes quiet after 05:00 GMT. So there are times that it is quiet on both servers. You just have to plan your activities to suit. Farming is great when it's quiet as well as solo content. Do PvP and Undaunted when it's busy. I find it easier to farm overland gear when it is quiet - Public Dungeons are your friend.

    Just try it out - you will have fun.

    Short answer, can't be done due to inflicting names

    This is why the PTS does cycles, 2 people can't have matching names

    Would make it much easier if they just made crown items account wide unlockable rather than server would give people incentive to play on both tbh

    Im in People of Tamriel, Inevitable, Chilled Explorers Dailies, Valinor Traders and Serenity,

    If you have any suggestions of better guilds that wanna do trials etc middle of the night and do Vet Trials with people like myself trying to learn them then Im all ears.

    I get it would be more difficult now because of this. but I'm sure there is away. The accounts are based on emails so only becomes a problem at a character name level really which. I would suggest that running into this problem after a change like this than on next login for both users they would be requested to change the name (Both so parties it's fair)

    Guild, playing with mates etc till silly hours of the morning is all fine and well but I seriously think this would benefit the community and the game, not just me and my awkward shifts

    Does this apply to different platforms? I’ve recently moved from Xbox to PC. All my character names seem to be unavailable. I thought I was just unlucky.

    If you are asking about the PTS it is only the PC/Mac characters that are copied over.

    If you are asking about inflicting names, which I assume they actually mean conflicting names, Zos chose to not build a system for that allows us to play the same characters or have the NA and EU servers connected to work as OP would like. They have not given a reason but it is probably no ore than they just chose not to and I doubt they will find reason to change direction.

    Edit: Also, that process of copying characters over top the PTS server is not straight forward. Zos has had complications with it before which resulted in both a delay in completing PTS maintenance and a week delay with EU being copied to the PTS.

    Sorry actually read your question a little wrong, I play EU. those are EU Guilds on EU server

    @luton0watford4 - looking at the quoted stuff, I'm thinking it was @WiseSky who commented about the EU guilds on the NA server. Perhaps at this point you could PM him/her to inquire?
