New weapon sets

there is only one skill per skill line that does not have a weapon set. logically the next skills which should have their weapon set are:

Bow: snipe
Two handed: momentum
One hand and shield: power bash
Dual wield: hidden blade
Destruction staff: weakness to element
Restoration staff: force siphon

So what do you want to see as a weapon for these skills?

    I thought about that a while ago.

    My opinion is that snipe and bower bash weapons could have offensive effects (empower the ability or add a dot) or give a small heal.

    Momentum could give major expedition or boost the HoT.

    Weakness to element could introduce Major magickasteal or add both lifesteal and introduce stamina steal (so add major magicsteal or addinor lifesteal+stamsteal).

    Don't know about hidden blade... HoT? Increased damage? Add minor vulnerability (just like lotus fan)

    A destro and resto staff based on those abilities wouldn’t work well imo. No one uses force siphon.
    Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
    LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
    PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
    Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten

    I think that's what makes the weapon set modifiers fun though - they should overpower skills into being great to use (at the cost of a monster set). If Force Siphon was an AOE that also caused all enemies affected to take 5% more damage, loads of people would want to use it. That's probably too OP :tongue: but that's the gist, and why I'm always excited to see how OP skills can become when new weapon sets are added.

    There is so many sta melee options. It's really time for some new magica skill lines. Don't care what they are. I do like the idea of Restoration force siphon.

    Stamina Steal for Destro.

    Unknown for Life steal. Maybe AoE Major Life Steal or some such new thing.

    Power Bash - Opponent takes % more damage for the next X amount of seconds. Essentially adding a stamina spammable for tanks which increases % damage done. Similar to the Heal sets that use Stamina or DoTs.

    Or it could be whatever.

    Don't think so, could be wrong. But, Vykosa procs major maim anyway.

    Id like to see weps that change the way some skills work;
    Buff cleave but make it single target.
    Make wall of elements a smaller ground effect that moves and homes in on its target.
    Make snipe a fast casting less damage ability thats more about resource return.
    Make rapid strikes into another bleed.
    EU: Magden, Magknight, Stamsorc(*2), Magsorc
    NA: Magplar, Magden, PotatoBlade

    Honorable Snipe set.

    (2 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage. When you use Snipe the skill is actually fixed and does not cause a health desync. While you are wearing this set you reflect 100% of forum whining damage from "l33t" PvPers back and cause permanent removal of one rock or tree from Cyrodiil.

    A weapon ability that among few others is weak, especially when most players are running around high resistances.

    Archers mind , hawks eye and marksman.

    Staff has elegence set which is a nice set.

    People whine about snipe in cyrodiil because they cant see the archer - this becomes an ego issue!
    A weapon ability that among few others is weak, especially when most players are running around high resistances.

    People whine about snipe because its a desync skill that only causes bugs and doesnt work properly at all. You can shoot 4 snipes in 6 seconds at someone like me... and 10 seconds later they all land AT the SAME time. Or when they get to me my resources go to zero I am still walking around I still have 100% health with no resources and then 10 seconds later I just die... Or you snipe me once and a minute later it actually lands and does damage and my health is now inaccurate by 20 or 30 percentiles.... yeah its a learn to play issue caused by the egos of the players that are the victims. Very intelligent deduction:)

    Ive been desynced by other abilities.
    Its an ego issue, most complaints about snipe comes from the tool tip damage and players cant see the snipers in stealth. Lets face it those who cry about snipe feel as if every one should fight melee range-fractured ego.
    Every one likes to blame others and certain things for why they were killed.
    Thats the whole point of a sniper, is not to be seen! Snipe is effected by lag.
    Desync issue is one thing but calling for a nerf is beyond ridiculous because nerfing snipe damage wont fix desync.

    Dont assume i made a deduction.
