Possible GM or just a hack? Xbox na

Not sure why my post didn't post, so try again.

So I'm in north elsweyr and a Dragon drops. There are only 3 people, a person sneaking, one AFK, and myself. The dragon is just sitting there, staring at the AFK person when the sneaker gets behind the AFK person and aggros the dragon, who then flames them both. The sneaker dies instantly, AFK doesn't lose one hp. I wait until the dragon hops to its next spot and get closer to the AFK person(next to a skyshard) and they have a red diamond next to their name. Still AFK. It wasn't a bot as it's standing next to a skyshard and not a node, but was between the dragon and the sneaker, yet didn't even lose hp nor did their pet aggro when attacked. Could this be the first GM I've seen?

No idea, sorry. Not sure what the red diamond might mean.

It's AWFUL that that never clicked in my head, especially considering all the talk of the new zone.(of course, NOW I can't get the song out of my head)

If the diamond was on the right side of the name, that was their Alliance rank. A GM will have a square with a Z inside it before their name.

Hmm, possible. I'm thinking it was hollow like the citizen but may be misremembering. Guess it could have been an alliance rank (i was on my stamcro and his view settings might be different than my main) I'd hate to think Xbox is getting hacked badly enough to stand face to face with a Dragon though. No aggro, no health loss. I'd hate to see people soloing dragons like that.

Hmm....what if it was one of those times where the person got bluescreened, and disconnected somehow. Their character would still be in the world but they would be offline. But, even when that happens, can you still take damage? I'm honestly not sure.

My main is AD... but even *I* know that Red Diamond is, “the heart and soul of men.”

    I don't think so.

I mean, there have been instances of people swimming past slaughterfish when exactly that happened, and ending up in places they are not supposed to, looking at empty maps and all that. You might be able to find some of those threads from long ago...

Some things that come to mind:
    - the person could be dead but died upright, the healthbar could be glitched and show (some, or regaining ) health. Sometimes the player can move while standing (e.g reading a map).

Above picture was taken in Cyro, around January 2019, I could draw a Repentance from this player, so the player was dead. Have seen it happen very rarely since.

-The NB wasn't tanky at all, the AFK person might have had a very tanky build, enough to withstand the first attack of this type of (fire/ice/storm) dragon.

-The AFK person was not AFK, knew what they were doing and had a good laugh out of the NB.

Not gonna lie I had a laugh as well over a crap move even if it was a hack, but I'm glad(what an awful thing to be glad for) that instead of a hack it could've just been another bug as usual...

I seem to recall a patch note somewhere about Dragons and players who were not engaged in the combat. I can't find it (yet) but I have to wonder whether there is something like that happening here.

Shortly after the Dragonguard event started, I was in Northern Elsweyr on the EU server looking to kill a dragon. My EU main is kind of squishy and not too good on DD-- and a 2-handed weapon user to boot, so he needs to get in close to fight. There were only two other players near the dragon, but I started attacking the dragon hoping to get some action going, because usually if people see a dragon with the crossed swords on it, they'll come running. Naturally, I got killed almost instantly, but I kept on trying for several attempts. Neither of the other two players ever joined in-- player A left, presumably to look for another dragon being attacked by a large group, and player B rode right up to the dragon on horseback and sat there staring it in the face. The dragon never reacted to player B at all. Maybe these players are using some kind of cheat that makes them invisible to dragons and impervious to hits?

Lol, read this and wanted to know whether this could be reproduced. Ran out of Soul Gems before figuring out the tipping point where the dragon gets aggroed, + the instances are relatively crowded, so no extensive staring contests with dragons atm. Same accounts for the invisibility potion I tried using.

I mean, this guy was literally nose-to-nose with the dragon-- right in its face-- but the dragon completely ignored him and kept watching me like a hawk (after I'd resurrected for the third or fourth time and was staying well away from him).

The first time I tested dragon aggro while mounted, I was able to ride right up to its snout and ride circles around it without aggroing it, for at least a couple of minutes until another player came along and made it mad.

The next day I tried the same thing and it aggroed as soon as I got close.
