    Ok, you got me. I was not expecting that and it made me laugh. :D

    Sadly I don't have a cat here, but I remember this problem well. That and the mouse suddenly disappearing down the back because the wire moved and must be killed.

    You gotta sit back a bit further, take in the whole screen, sitting up close like that limits your peripheral vision.

    You should switch your camera-settings to first person.
